Answers:
where do you live? are you going to disneyland or disneyworld how long you going for? these are question you need to know up to that time anyone can really answer this
for a pack, it is about $1600 for staying at a pro resort and getting tickets. If you want to make this even more affordable, walk camping. Their campground is factor of the resort, get impossible to tell apart resort benefits, and you can bring your own food and this makes it so much cheaper. We own 4 kids and we went for 5 days near the whole family circle, camped and spent $1300, this be including our drive there. Also, you can hold on to 10 people on your site so if you can split the cost of the $50 a dark on the site, then you can find down to your accomodations being even cheaper. I would look into it because they enjoy heated pools and a restaurant, beautiful seaside, lake rentals, golf pushcart rentals, heated bath houses beside showers, and electricity ( so you can bring your lights with you!) It is fantastic.
yes disneyworld is expensive , I would love to go myself
but next to the gas prices , i think that concept is out .
prices are all different prices ...

First of adjectives, military get discounted tickets. and you can research the packages for Disney world and receive some idea of the cost. Try doing the booking from a military travel site, similar to military.com as you will get better discounts, click on attractions and subject matter parks for active duty or military. Shades of Green resort, give rates to the military based on their repute. Busch gardens will give free tickets to the military and family, Budweiser is sponsoring that.Go to Military travel discounts and see what you can find. My husband was injured surrounded by Iraq, but we still can use some of the discounts. Good Luck and thank your dad for his service, for me. Thank you for your service as a family contributor. Hope you have a wonderful time.
A trip to Disney isn't cheap, but your dad and your home will likely be eligible for some discounts. Check out these websites for details nearly military discounts:

Pricing depends on when you stir, where you stay, and the sensitive of package you buy.
You should check out some different websites:

www.allears.network
www.mousesavers.com
www.expedia.com
Disney Value Hotels are not too pricey ($80-$150 a night--sometimes cheaper). You can also stay off property, although I wouldn't (you won't go and get the Disney perks).
Park tickets can be as low as $30 a day per personage. If you buy a park hopper ticket the price can be about $340 for 7 days, including river parks & more per person.
There are ways to catch the cost down--look for a deal through the websites. Mousesavers.com have a freebie section for good money.
If he is coming home soon, and you can go between Aug. 24-Sept. 20th you can embezzle advantage of the free dining plan proffer.
Whenever I go I play around on expedia until I bring the perfect buy and sell. Good Luck!
EDIT:
Today I realized that I completely forgot give or take a few Shades of Green. Active and retired military can stay at this military Disney hotel. Check out the prices. It may end up human being more than a value resort, but it is worth the look. The prices here depend on station and years of service. In recent years they have remodeled this resort and it looks pretty nice.
For DisneyWorld:
If your dad is within the army, you can get moderately the discount and stay at a really nice resort exclusively for those in the military and their family. The resort is called "Shades of Green" and be made just for ethnic group like you!
Also, near are value resorts which start at $82/night and hold really fun theming, such as movies, sports, music or pop century.
Base tickets are the cheapest and allow you one park per day. From in that you can add option like park hopper, hose park and more credits, and no experation.
Water park and more credits allow you to visit Disney's two wet parks, typhoon lagoon and blizzard beach. But are single good if you are going during a reheat time of year! The credits also allow access to DisneyQuest (huge indoor interactive arcade type place), Pleasure Island (Nightlife Entertainment for those of appropriate age), and Disney's wide world of sports (You'll own to check their calendar for dates of sporting events).
The Disney Dining Plan (DDP) is a great process to save money on food. The unfinished package get you 1 counter service meal, one snack, and one table service buffet per day, per character. This is only available if you book a carton with Disney. In other words, if you stay off-site, you cannot find the DDP. If you go during Aug - Sept, you can usually gain the Free Dining Plan Promotion, which that have be doing each year.
For example, on www.disneyworld.com I priced out a leave for two adults, staying at All Star Sports, for 9 days/8 nights during the Free Dining promotion, beside a 9 day park hopper and marine park and more option, plus I added airfare from a fickle west coast city (since that would probably be most expensive) and including vacation insurance: GRAND TOTAL - $2,205
Well it all depends.
If its only you two and you want to stay there for a few days, total cost can be between 1500-2000 (Park hopper tickets, hotel, food, plan ticket)
I go with my dad closing summer (just us two) and we went from a friday to a tuesday and it be about that cost. It really depends, if your flying, how much it would cost.
But believe me, its soo worth the money!
Now this summer, I'm going rear with my complete family! lol
check the hotels surrounded by kissimee most of them are offering discounted rates for the military. also disney has a hotel that is to say only for military and thier family, i think something close to green meadow but dont remember the first name. they may have information on within web or make a contribution them a call. I dont know when your dad is planned to return but they are offering free dining in August. Hope this help and tell your dad that we apprieciate everything he is doing for us
On the moved out hand side of this website is the price chart, type surrounded by roughly when you would be going and work from there, I hope this help you :)

I would attain a quote from http://www.vacationsnbeyond.com, it depends on certain option, like Hotels you want to stay at, etc. I would recommend to stay on site at one of the moderate hotels if you want to run to Disney World and for sure look into both Dining Plans well worth it especially the Deluxe, one and only complaint on the deluxe plan is they give you to much food.
disney world or disney house?
Based on a recent call on: staying in a plus resort, four guest, park hopper tickets, dinning plan; you can plan on about 400 dollars per time per person.
.
ohh, than disneyland and its probably around 80 dollars a ticket for a guess?
