Moving to orlando?
give me the pros and cons in the order of living in orlando? and im a manly nurse so would i be able to buy a nice single ancestral home for $375,000? and what is the weather like year around? freshly tell me everything you know please. gratitude.

First, being contained by the nursing profession it will be easy to find employment. Check the Orlando Sentinel online for local employment offerings, look at the Sunday paper. With housing prices within decline you can expect to find some nice houses and areas to live. Weather, we get hot and humid within the summer, but hardly ever bring back a real freeze contained by the winter. We may have a couple of freeze warning each winter but they don't usually amount to anything. Hurricanes, we from time to time get them, the final ones in 04 be the first to hit Orlando in resembling 80 years.
Some of the pros, theme parks, effortless drive to beaches (either gulf or ocean), a thriving arts district near many touring broadway plays respectively year. A wonderful international airport to reach anywhere surrounded by the world. A newly established medical nouns being built next to many companies, hospitals, research centers and medical college.
The cons, traffic can be a problem until you learn the 'backways' to catch around traffic jams. A growing crime problem that is to say spreading outwards from the city center. Property taxes and home insurance rates are a continuing issue. And if you can't stand humid weather you could find it a problem. Some people gripe just about a lack of season, but in realness we do have them, basically not as extreme. You will also hear that the schools aren't worthy, again that you need to resolve for yourself. Like any community, some schools are better later others.

There is not enough space to write everything I know almost living in the City of Orlando, or surrounded by the metropolitan area surrounding Orlando.:) Here are a few things to consider.
Check into the the salary before making your move and decide on where you want to live. Florida is a 'right to work' state and so union are not very strong here. Nurses from the north east US and California are sometimes surprised that the salary seem low. However, it is possible to buy a greatly nice single family home for a bit smaller number than $375,000. For example, my house is about 2 miles from the center of downtown Orlando; it is a 3 bedroom 2.5 hip bath house...great neighborhood, and is appraised at just over $200,000. Single clan houses in nice neighborhoods run from $200,000 to over a million dollars.the million dollar homes are more resembling McMansions.
The two main hospital systems here are Orlando Regional Healthcare System and Florida Hospital/Adventist. Independent hospitals include West Orange Hospital surrounded by Winter Garden; Central Florida Regional in Sanford, and Osceola Regional contained by Kissimmee. You will likely efficiently find work in doesn`t matter what your specialty is. There are hundreds of surgical centers, private practices, clinics, and urgent care centers. Also, in attendance is a new Medical Research center and VA Hospital within the planning stages near Orlando International Airport, surrounded by an area call "Lake Nona". The residential neighborhoods near Lake Nona are fundamentally nice, except for the homes near Odyssey Middle School contained by Orange County-those neighborhoods were built on hoary an old bombing continuum, and oops they've discovered some buried unexploded ordinance.
The City of Orlando is in Orange County. The Metropolitan nouns includes Seminole County, Osceola County, Lake County, and dozens of small towns. Don't limit your force out to just Orlando.although I love Orlando.
We own two seasons here; Hurricane Season and Not Hurricane Season; or the Rainy Season and the Dry Season. From in arrears May until the end of October it stays exceedingly humid, high temps are other in the upper 80s to mid 90s, lows surrounded by the upper 70s; and we get afternoon thunderstorms several times respectively week.sometimes everyday. The dry season runs from early November until the extension of May, and the weather is very undependable. It can go from reheat, in the low 80s, to cold surrounded by the 30s or 40s in 24 hours. We don't bring back the daily storms, but when a cold front comes through we achieve strong thunderstorms and sometimes tornados. Most of the time, the dry season is wonderful. Be careful in the region of buying a house near heavily wooded areas, we do grasp wildfires late within the dry season sometimes.
This area is incredibly spread out, traffic can be very unhealthy. There is little public transportation. However, it's often possible to find a great home implicit where you work.

I live outside Orlando and I love it! We are give or take a few 40 minutes from the theme parks, so we don't catch a lot of tourist traffic where on earth I am (SE Orlando). That's not to say that traffic isn't an issue. Your best bet would be to find a home surrounded by an area specifically fairly close to your work to minimize commuting time.
Nurses are within demand here, so finding a brief shouldn't be a problem. I also don't think you would own a problem finding a home in a honourable neighborhood. The housing market is stale the spike it had a while wager on, so prices are back where on earth they should be and many houses are for Dutch auction, so it's a buyers market. It's a virtuous time to move here, because so many associates want to sell.
The weather is wonderful! However, you do own to consider the heat contained by summer. Summer here is like winter elsewhere. When it's the worst, you a moment ago don't go outside. There is nil like going out surrounded by shorts in January, though. Of course, hurricanes are a consideration. I've lived here for eight years and most years we don't hold anything, but of course, we have three come through here in the year 2004. Hopefully that will never occur again!
Here are a few neighborhoods to get you started: Waterford Lakes, Eastwood, Avalon Park. These are adjectives in close proximity to the Florida Hospital East. It only just had a core expansion. This area also have great schools, shopping and dining. Plus it's merely a few miles from the UCF main campus.
Florida also have no state tax, so your gross goes further here as economically.

I am from the Uk and this is one of my favorite places in the world. Being the sunshine state it have year round good weather and its not in recent times theme parks.its so much more consequently that. House prices are good and I am sure you will find something really nice and affordable, I manage to make plenty of friends while at hand as the people are really friendly and they are not single from all over america but also the rest of the world. There seem to be plenty of jobs as ably with disney as one of the biggest employer in the nouns..
