It may takr awhile due to traffic and the fact that you may enjoy to change buses at lowest possible once. There may be an Express Bus which move fast because they just stop every five stops. Or the go on the highway or freeway. For more info you can shift here: http://www.thebus.org/
Pearl City to Waikiki
Took me almost an hour. Lotsa stops.
It depends on which bus you're on, how many populace are on it and what time of day you're riding.
Regular non-rush hour traffic:
Kailua - 1 hour
Kaneohe - 1 hour
Ewa Beach - 1 hour 15 minutes
Pearl City - 45 minutes
Makaha - 2 hours
Rush hour times (w/o any accident or stalled cars)
Kailua - 1 1/2 hours
Kaneohe - 1 1/2 hours
Ewa Beach - 1 hour 45 minutes
Pearl City - 1 hour 15 minutes
Makaha - 3 hours
Obviously these are approximate times. Check out their website for a better understanding of the routing and time schedule. The times I've given you are approxiamate riding times and does not include time waiting for the next bus (since you'll own to transfer on adjectives of these routes to get to Waikiki).
Good luck and smiling travels!
Google now offer a new service that will allow you to put this info into their system and it will subtract times based on rota... it will also show you different connections you can make. It's so tidy. I think you can access it from The Bus' website, or it might be slice of the maps.google.com. Try probing for it like "bus route finder" or something. Good luck.
Timing depends profoundly on traffic...
