What is the best and most affordable island to live on within hawaii?Why?
I know they are all really expensive, but which one is smaller amount?

oahu is the cheapest island to live on. it's big so due to the many option, the demand is lower so prices have need of to be competitive. also, there's a great bus system, housing is a bit less expensive, and in that is a great opportunity for employment
you can get a plate of food contained by oahu for 8 bucks and for the same exact food, pay cheque 15 in maui...meeehhh!!
The big island, on the Hilo side. It is rainier over there, but not a severely long drive over to Kona where the beach are gorgeous. Also, Hilo is big enough to enjoy all the conveniences of a city (without human being a CITY, if you know what I mean).
I would say that Oahu is the cheapest island to live and work on. You can find job more frequently and you have frequent more stores available to you so competition drives some prices down. Everything more or less comes into Oahu and next spreads out from there and thus the drive for higher costs on the other islands. Hope this help.
