Going on a greyhound bus long distance, entail warning.?
i'm going on a greyhound bus for about 24 hours or more, for give or take a few 1000 miles. I don't want another suggestion for megabus or amtrak or to take an airplane, i live contained by a small town and greyhound is the only ability of transportation out of here and i can't drive either.
But anyway, what's it close to traveling greyhound for such a long distance? Anything extra i should bring? anything i should watch out for? or anything else.
gratitude in finance =]

That's going to be rough! But you already know that. Best advice is to get hold of up and walk around as much as you can. Otherwise you will really attain sore and cramp up.
Take snacks, books to read, magazines, laptop, i-pod, (if you own a laptop take some movies - Netflix or something resembling that is great), earplugs! (You may loop up next to someone who snores!!). Keep your valuables on you - don't put anything surrounded by your suitcase you are afraid to loose. Keep your wallet in your front pocket.
That's in the order of it. Good luck.
ummm wow 24 hours on Greyhound well-mannered luck man. It's not bad unless you bring body aches smooth from sitting down for long periods of time. the longest time i've be on a greyhound was a few hours not the adjectives day lol. Well i would suggest perchance a laptop if you have one, a psp if you resembling games, cell, extra snacks, cuz you'll only stop for food possibly 1-2 times. thats all i can believe of
I have traveled thousands of miles on these buses. Relax. The drivers are great drivers. Keep up near your stuff, and don't take more than you requirement. Take some books and a Bible. You can eat on the bus so thieve drinks and something to munch on. No smoking . You may want to take a head-set radio or something. Watch out for individuals who seem odd. Mostly stay in the lobby's and preserve up with your stuff.
oh common, 24 hours is zilch! I am going on a 3 days 'exciting' greyhound ride from Toronto all the bearing to Jasper! my main concern is how am I going to sleep?!! I am thinking just about buying sleeping pills maybe...
but it's the cheapest agency, I saved so much as opposing flying. extra things...well I would bring a pillow, some music, snacks, not sure in the region of books, I can never read on the bus
good luck to you!
