I am from the UK and with our credit crunch going on i want to ask what the price would be for a normal 4 bedroom house contained by the USA . nothing fancy .

Hi there. Well, in attendance is a credit crunch and housing mess in the US too, but the South have always be affordable. I have attached two website that will support you look. Outside of cities like New York and Los Angles (the most expensive) masses places are affordable. Now would be an excellent time for you to buy given that the pound is so strong against the dollar and the house prices are slipping here due to oversupply. You could do very powerfully.
One question - are you prepared for the drastic modification in climate? Moving country from Europe's humid climate is hard for tons.
Lets, see a 4 bedroom home surrounded by Oklahoma will set you back more or less $200K (nothing fancy).
A 4 bedroom home in Greenwich, Ct will set you put money on $2.5 million (nothing fancy).

It is so different form state to state.I Live within a small town in Minnesota and hold a 4 bed room 2 bath and we rewarded 69'000.00 for it in 1997 it is in a minute worth197'000.00. We did redo the kitchen and both baths. Now I suppose if we were to try and receive the same surrounded by somewhere like California or New York we would be looking at similar to half a million or more.

I'm contained by the southern part of TX on the coast and the "nought fancy" 4 bedroom houses go for something like 150,000 - 200,000 but I'm right on the water.
A little further surrounded by, 50 miles or so, and the 4 bedrooms drop to about 100,000.

Hey in that. I'm from the US and live in the US but lived within the UK for years so I know what you are talking more or less. First off, our financing is a heck of alot better than the UK. Most of our loans are 30 year fixed rate loans (so no house prices going up every time the interest rate go up) Generally you have to put money down, but within many of the untried communities you can get contained by without a down recompense. Also, you get alot more house for alot smaller quantity money. Where as a 2000sq foot house will cost you in excess of 400,000 pounds (if not more!) You can take a nice 4 bed 2 1/2 bath house contained by the US in the Southern states from roughly speaking $150,000 (75,000 pounds) and up. Also, we are suffering from a huge housing crisis and many houses are have trouble selling so the house prices are excellent. I moved from South Carolina to Phoenix AZ and found houses out here being discounted up to $100,000! We enjoy so many option out here it is unbelievable so if you are looking to buy, immediately is the time.
