Is near a cheap means of access of taking our kith and kin to Florida (Disneyland etc)?
We are planning a family trip to Florida but are shocked at some of the extortionate prices.
We wondered if anyone have managed to do it on a budget or have any advise.
Thanks
Answers:
Well if you work much and don't dribble away money on toys and find a cheap hotel then yes.
I investigated my holiday this year to destruction! And I found it cheaper to book everything individually
Flights from Globespan
Car from HolidayAutos
Stayed at the Enclave suites just sour international drive(which I got a discount on through work)
And tickets from Attraction Tickets Direct.
This be absolute cheapest route I could for what we wanted.
But if you enjoy a large ethnic group you might prefer a villa.
But, without my discount on the hotel, the integral package wasn't far past its sell-by date the price from TravelCity Direct...
Hope these ideas back anyway
Good luck!
Hello, I am local to Florida, I live surrounded by Miami. We go to Disney a few times a year. and yes in that are many ways for you to amass a lot of money. first you can book a house to rent fairly than a hotel www.familiesfirst.com has great rates. it will squirrel away you on cooking your meals etc.. the homes are adjectives new, fully stocked and near pools, they are all smaller amount than 10 minutes from all of the Disney attractions. Also, you can progress to www.priceline.com and name your price and star rating that you are feeling like to stay at (i have done this several times, and stayed at great hotels for markedly low prices. Also, if you are up for this one... you can go to your look into engine and type in (free disney tickets) and you will take a lot of websites showing up where on earth you can attend a 90 minute presentation from different resorts and they will in turn furnish you 2 sometimes 4 free entrance tickets to whichever thempark you choose.. (the catch is that you enjoy to say that you are married and listen to a 90 minute speal on timeshares) you dont hold to buy anything..we've also done that a few times. you can also go to the largest chains of hotels (www.choicehotels.com or travelodge) and they are affordable nice hotels, right by the disney entrance. anyways i hope this helps, you can email me near any further questions..
We found that the most expensive part be the flights, so I suggest you look at flight prices and work your holiday around that. Try going to an airport like Sanford it works out cheaper.
We booked a life-size villa in Kissemme for eight of us ( it cost lb1100 for two weeks).
We bought Disney pass via the travel agent, we bought 4 two week passes and shared them so they be in use every hours of daylight .
Some people on our flight rewarded less for their holiday than we did for the flight so shop around.
There are booths on International drive where on earth if you go to a presentation at one of their complexes you can catch free Disney tickets or $100 it was fine we did it when we have run out of money in the final few days and got lunch thrown within as well.
I found the villa much better than the hotels especially near children as we had our own pool and we could cook what we needed. Wallmart was so cheap.
Take thinking with vehicle hire we found it would have be cheaper to hire over there at the airport. Also kid seat and cot hire we could own bought both at Wallmart cheaper and we only remunerated $9 for a little lightweight push bench. Or take a babe-in-arms car form with you if you are hiring a sports car. It cost us lb50 for the baby form in the hire saloon for two weeks and lb100 for cot hire in the villa and it be only a travel cot. Also they charged a fortune for a coupé upgrade.
Disney car parks are expensive if you are staying sour site it is worth getting a bus from international drive its less than the saloon park and you are bussed in from the vehicle park anyway.
Having said all that my son enjoy Disney Paris better as it was too hot for him within Florida!
we saved lb600 on a virgin quote by booking through
http://www.kenwoodtravel.com/
simply email your requested dates ,entertainment size etc and they come back near a quote
then getting your tickets from

own a nice stay
Stay at a budget Disney hotel (one of the All-Starts). If you can, go stale season when they offer the dining plan for free! However, if you can do this, generate sure to have your dinner reservations made. Unless I be absolutely sure which park we be going to be at (based on EMH which are great), I made reservations at a restaurant in another Disney hotel. Also, look for cheap flights. If you stay on property, at hand is absolutely no inevitability for your own transportation.
It is expensive to stay at Disney but staying at the Disney location is worth every penny. You could stay at one of the Disney budget hotels. Many will say that you should stay at Kissimee but you still call for a car to obtain to and from Disney if your not driving down, or if you take their buses you are set to the buses time table. Staying at Disney save you that headache. Plus you get an extra hour contained by the park at night and contained by the morning. try going to the site, Many times you can add food packages. Also don't be afraid to bring back a room with a fridge, next you can bring your own snacks from home. They have microwaves at adjectives the hotels.
When are you planning your trip for? If your trying to plan a vacation short identify it's going to be more expensive because the cheaper hotels are already booked. Try booking for Aug in March of 08. That process you have time to put aside and more choices.
Buy the book "Disney on a Dime" for money saving tips. It can be extremely expensive, but it doesn't hold to be. Whatever you do, don't buy theme park tickets from anyone except an approved wholesaler. These places are legitimate: www.ticketmania.com, www.undercovertourist.com, www.mapleleaftickets.com, AAA, or the Disney Store. Many ethnic group get burned on eBay and procure used tickets that have not days departed, or nothing at adjectives.

Hi!
I know EXACTLY what you mean!!
We save up for two years for our family - two adults and three children to run to Florida - coz the costs was so much.
We also up to date that it would be a once in a lifetime piece, and as such we didn't want to have to articulate no to the kids if they wanted something - so to us - it be imperative that we had the reserves to fall rear on.
What I can tell you is that we didn't use adjectives the days on our Disney tickets. We went surrounded by 2001 and last year I sold our unwanted tickets (which had be languishing at the spinal column of a drawer) for lb425 on ebay!! I was ASTONISHED!! I have previously offered them to a work colleague when we got put money on for fifty quid - and they turned me down!!
I really hope that someone on here manages to make available you some good pointers and that you acquire the holiday of your dreams!
All the best!
Have a great time!!
The best thing is to do a Vacation Package staying outside Disney Property. You can email us at info(a)interstatetours.com next to more information about your trip including date and ages of your children. Or you can also visit us at http://www.interstatetours.com

Book everything seperately. If you go to the website below you can go and get lowcost accommodation, cheap saloon rental, cheap flights and also discount disney tickets
Well Disneyland isn't surrounded by Florida, it's in California... we enjoy Disneyworld here. You might be able to rescue a few dollars but even on a budget a vacation here will cost you several thousand.
