!8 New York big City tee-hee?

Hi, I'm 18 and I'm going to New York today to stay with my dad surrounded by his apartment. I'm going to college next semester so I can chill for a few days contained by the city. What are somethings I can do? Because every ''New Yorker'' is going to work besides me. So what should a 18 year-old do ?

Answers:
NY have most everything, so what do you like? There's museums, art gallery, history, food, sports, gambling, clubs, archtecture, libraries, entertainment, shopping, etc.
NY is really a collection of neighborhoods, so check out a few. If you're into the holidays, check out Rockefeller Center, Macy's, Central Park, etc.
Good luck near school & delight in the chill time!
Don't worry not every New Yorker is going to work!! Think of something you may own heard give or take a few that is great/fun to do and enjoy fun!! Remember to always look out. Stay safe.
Awesome! Wish i could play hooky from work. Many museums are closed on Mondays so Sunday is a good daytime to check some out. Museums: MoMA, Metropolitan Museum of Art, Museum of Natural History. Sunday brunch is also really popular: Prune, Bubby's, Clinton St Bakery. For Monday, you should just pick up a subway map and travel from the tip and manager North. NYC is totally a walking town so bring a comfortable pair of shoes. Downtown: Ferry to the Statue of Liberty, organizer up the Westside Hwy and through Battery Park City for a nice stroll including the Trapeze from Sex in the City, Ground nil 9/11 site, walk down wall street and see the bull, the Stock Exchange have a tour, if you're interested in history, Brooklyn Bridge - you can waddle halfway and bearing back, J&R on Park Row to shop for electronics, Chinatown for some right food (any restaurant on Mott St, wonton garden or NY Noodletown for noodles, Jing Fong, Dim Sum a go-go or Harmony Palace for dim sum). From Chinatown, head up Broadway for some great shopping until you grasp to Union Sq. Little Italy is ok for desserts, not so great for food, really a tourist trap. Venieros on 1st and 10th is the best Italian dessert place. Spring St in Soho have great galleries and stores. From Union Sq, come first to Midtown: Macy's on 34th st., Times Sq on 42nd St, free ice skating at Bryant Park on 42nd St, Rockefeller Center and the Tree on 48th St. between 5th and 6th, next head up 5th Ave for more shopping, Apple store, FAOSchwartz, after a pedicab ride or walkthrough of Central Park's ice skating rink, zoo, boathouse. Have fun!! Lots of moral restaurants everywhere!
