Where is a accurate place to stay for 1 week surrounded by Florida?
I was looking at Tampa or possibly Miami but thats only base on browsing the web. I also want to do a morning trip in the everglades.
I will be backpacking so Im after believably cheap accommodation! Preferably a nice shoreline and a bit of nightlife.

Why not stop within Hollywood Beach, Florida. its about 20 Minutes from Ft. Lauderdale and accomadations are affordabel. I recommend Carribean Resort Apartments as its 275/week. Rooms come near kitchens. Also, its steps to the beach.
If you are flying, then the cheapest entity would be to get your hotel beside the flight package.

Well I was going to voice Pensacola Beach or Destin. Gorgeous beaches! But when you said you looked-for a day trip to the Everglades that pretty much took this nouns out of the loop. If you ever want to see some beautiful beach and some great scuba diving, come to Pensacola Beach. We are the home of the Oriskany, great scuba.
If you wan dark life, nice coast and everglades than just step to the Miami area. You can find some cheap hotels/motels/hostels within Miami. Miami has world recognized night existence, world famous beach and world famous humour sites like Everglades National Park, Biscayne National Park and the key and Bahamas are right next door.
Miami is the place to be surrounded by Florida.
I've never been, but I hear St. Augustine is amazing.
Try Orlando nouns. Visit Mickey Mouse if you can afford it.
definatly MIAMI BEACH!! stay at a hotel for great pools but if you cant afford it stay at an inn or at a hilton. its so much fun at the clubs and stuff enjoy:)))
Just stay at the holiday inn on Sunrise Blvd. and A1A. Its across the street from Ft. Lauderdale beach, and walking distance from some great bar and and shopping. It's also minutes away from downtown Ft. Lauderdale.
Miami, no, but on down to Key West for a week, off-season. Explore the key before they are long-gone within the wake of Global Warming.
