Moving to a exotic city (Houston, TX). Find a livelihood first or an apartment?
I am relocating to Houston with one child. Lately I've be looking for apartments. But which is best to do as far as looking first...a job or an apartment?

Well you need money for an apartment. Of course you also involve somewhere to stay after you move.
If you have someone you can stay near temporarily when you first move, then find a mission first. Then you can find an apartment in a right area that isn't too far to commute to work.
If you don't own anywhere to stay when you first move to Houston, you may want to find an apartment first.
My suggestion is that if for anything reason you're going to move to Texas, move to Austin or Dallas instead.

Definately, BOTH. I live surrounded by Houston, and taxes kill. So try public academy first, and DEFINATELY get a dutiful job and a small apartment for immediately, and when you take bad, you'll be spending less. And after, once you make your actual money, then you can verbs to a bigger apartment or a house. Maybe even private school for your kid if you attitude that as an option. But remember, studies show that renting save you money.

Why would you take a kid to a unsullied city without a errand or a house? I can see you going alone to find a job, you can other live your car but to drag your kid minus any sort of stability is stupid and irresponsible...on the other hand if you own a place to stay while you look for a job I'd vote find a job after a place of your own.you've gotta have money for an apartment first right?
