If we marry tours within Oahu, do we still call for to rent a saloon?
I'm thinking of joining some Oahu Nature Tours which would take us to North Shore, Hanauma Bay, etc.

1: Do we still have need of to rent a car?
2: Which tours do you recommend?
Answers:
Keep in mind that renting a saloon will be one cost ... and parking can be anywhere from 15-20$ overnight ... depending on your hotel. However, renting a car will pass you the freedom to go where you want whenever you want and cruise for as long as you like. Oahu Nature Tours will pick you up for their tours if you are staying contained by the Waikiki area.
Seems close to you like the outdoorsy stuff ... hear of shark cage diving? That is super fun and depending on the company you book beside trans. may be available for like 40$. Think around ALL of the activities you want to do, check if the tour companies volunteer trans at the price your willing to rate. If your on a low budget ... consider the public trans system (www.thebus.org) I get confused next to their website ... so you can call them for route details. If budget is not an issue ... rent a motor for the freedom.
you can win by without a tour , especially if you are staying within honolulu as your base ? plenty of restaurants close by / shopping etc. the tours pick up from adjectives the hotels. it is usually more economical though to rent a car and walk pay your declaration of guilt to these places. add it up and see what your numbers are / what you prefer to do and compensate for in writ for convenience. it is easy driving at hand. it is totally your call what you prefer to do. parking does enjoy fees in hotels usually too. enjoy a wonderful time. North Shore is great to see / high side / world surfers. Hanauma Bay is wonderful for snorkeling. Really pretty. The snorkeling is great on Malokini / crescent shaped island across from maui. it breaks the waves from coming surrounded by so you have great smooth sea. you take a catermaran ride to catch there from kaanapalli (spelling?) seaside. A good tour within Oahu is the Dole Pineapple factory and plantation tour. the water fountains own pineapple juice instead of river. quite the expereince :-) lol. does not lift much to thrill me. have a great time.
I live surrounded by Hawaii and if i was visit i wouldnt go for the tours. It is much more fun to budge out exploring by yourself on your own time schedule. Pickup one of copious books for where to walk for the nature hikes. I use a book call Oahu Trailblazer and it has adjectives the info you need. Driving directions, distance, ect.
I would rent a coup¨¦. You dont have to spend alot of money at one of the key rental places. You can use a place that my friends use when they visit. It is call Cheap-Rent-A-Car. They have the lowest prices around by far. They rent out elder cars so you dont have to settle as much. The cars are usually like 2003-2006 cars and are surrounded by good shape. Just ring ahead once you have the date you need a sports car for and reserve since they run out of stock fast. The price is close to $16 a day and the grant deals for weekly rentals.
The number is
(808) 596-8828
You can procure by without a motor if the tours you're taking are going to cover everything you want to see.
I would suggest you make up your mind when you return with here. There are a number of motor rental places in Waikiki that hold cars available all the time if within is something that you see on your tour that you MUST go fund to.
I would suggest you check out the normal tourist stuff similar to Hanauma Bay, Pearl Harbor (for both the USS Arizona and the USS Missouri), Hilo Hattie (for cheap souvenir stuff and hawaiian clothes), Bishop Museum (for hawaiian history) and Polynesian Cultural Center (especially the dinner show). Check with your conceirge..adjectives of these attractions should have buses that frequent the Waikiki nouns that you can jump on for small prices.
Good luck and cheery travels!
1. Depends if you plan to do anything outside of what the tour offer (ie shopping, beaches, restaurants, etc)
2. Check if you hotel is also surrounded by close proximity to your non-tour activities.
You don't need to rent a saloon in Oahu because the bus system runs totally efficiently in that. I would recommend the Circle Island Tour, the Polynesian cultural center tour, Pearl Harbor, Waimea Falls tour.
