there's a book call Lonely Planet (NYC)
it is a really really helpful book for tourists approaching us because it includes walking tours, etc, and places to eat.
by the means of access, instead of waiting for hours in procession to get to the statue of self-determination, you may opt to have the NY channel tour instead. This way, you will squirrel away enough time to tour other parts of the city :)

there's also the well-known BULL at the financial district :)
you should also try the yummiest Pizza Margherita at 'Lil Frankie in East Village ^,^
if you enjoy more time, try walking the stretch of Brooklyn Bridge.

this serves as an exercise too.. hihihi
also, do visit Saint Patricks's Cathedral at 5th avenue.
don't miss to stir inside.
it's wonderful!
we also went to Top of the Rock instead of the Empire State Building to avoid the long row hihihi because we were afraid we won't hold enough time to see other parts of NYC :)
for shopping, you may want to look in Century 21, just across the former WTC.

we chose Cafe Lalo hihihi because of the ambiance and because it's famous.
To relax, try have a picnic at Central Park.

consequently, we went to MET (entrance is by donation simply, you don't have to contribute 20 USD)

This depends entirely on who you are. Some, approaching the poster above, would emphasize clubbing and Broadway plays. Others would underline shopping. Others would stress visiting the frequent fine art museums in the city. You can't do it adjectives, but we have no road of knowing what your priorities are.
u must c a broadway play and turn to time sqaure at night. and travel clubing.
I've a moment ago come bk from there, its so awsome u hold to go to century 21 located oposit ground nil and next to the melenium hilton hotel its the best discount store ever.
