Hawaii Island Hopping - How oodles days on respectively island?
We are going on our honeymoon for 15 days to Hawaii and plan to go to Oahu, Maui, and the Big Island. A couple of days will be for travel to/from the US, and a few partially days for inter-island travel. This leaves us 10 days, plus 3 half days (or 11.5) for fun. How heaps days should we spend on each island? We both resembling the beaches, volcanoes, and sightseeing. Maybe for a moment snorkeling. Neither of us are looking to do anything extreme like skydiving or something. I'm thinking give or take a few 3 in Oahu, 5 within Maui, and 2.5 on Big Island. What amount of days sounds good on respectively island for a honeymoon?

Your trip sounds fantastic. 2-3 islands is the most you should try within that amount of time. It sounds like you're planning too much time for traveling though. Stay longer contained by Maui and the Big Island.

Maui - 2 days
Oahu - 5 days
Kauai - 2 days
We did Maui contained by One day and precipitate morning.
We did Big island in 5days next to a car rental.
We did Kauai surrounded by 2 days
And Oahu you have to do surrounded by a week to see and do all the exciting things here to do!!
That sounds exhausting to me! All of the packing, unpacking, turning in rental cars, sitting within airports, etc. does NOT equal good fun on a honeymoon. My counsel is to narrow your roll down to two or even one island. Three is just too heaps unless you have 3-4 weeks to spend. Here are my thoughts:
Oahu is our "big city" island as Honolulu (the state capital) is here. Waikiki beach is crowded and full of tourists, but it's profusely of fun and there is a ton of stuff to do. Shopping, fine dining, plus adjectives of the activities and excursions you would expect surrounded by Hawaii, such as luau, snorkeling, hiking, diving, etc. Much of Oahu is very rural and barely audible; it's not ALL like Honolulu.
Maui - it's a pretty island. A bit more laid vertebrae than Oahu but growing rapidly. Shopping and dining are almost as perfect and diverse as they are on Oahu. Also lots of water sports and comings and goings, such as the morning bicycle ride down Haleakala (a dormant volcano).
Big Island - 2-1/2 days here will NOT be enough, guaranteed! It take at least in the future to see much of Volcanoes National Park and since you said you are interested in volcanoes, you really should spend some time nearby. It's an amazing place and Kilauea is going off in a minute like crazy! Lots of great lava viewing opportunity as well as great hikes throughout the park.
If it be my trip (and I've been to the four highest islands...the three you mentioned AND Kauai), I would do Oahu and the Big Island. I might spend 3-4 days on Oahu and the rest on the Big Island. Maui is nice but you will see just as much foliage and animal life on the Big Island (and even Oahu, really) as you would see on Maui. Why break up your trip so much when you can relax and relish it a little more if you enjoy less traveling to do? You want to fashion sure to spend some time just lying on the coast or relaxing by the pool, getting massages, and doing newlywed things -- not only just running around taking pictures. Take some time, shrink down your choices, and enjoy.

First of all, hope you hold a great honeymoon!! Are you not planning on going to Kauai? I suppose Kauai is relatively similar to Maui in that near is a lot of sightseeing, however respectively island is different. Three on Oahu should be fine. Oahu will definitely be the most congested, but in that is a lot of shopping and dinning opportunites. Five on Maui could be a bit long. I niggardly, there is greatly to see, however a majority of your time will be sightseeing, as the activity height is more minimal. With that said, it is a beautiful island. Two and a partially on the Big Island is ok, but you probably will plan spending at least a full morning doing the volcano thing. Personally, I would whip a day away from Maui and make a payment that to Oahu as the activity height is so much higher. But that's merely me. You will be on your honeymoon, so maybe smaller quantity people and more relaxation is what youre looking for. In that baggage, your breakdown looks good.
My husband and I stayed on the island of Oahu for our honeymoon contained by September 2005. We were at hand for a bit over a week and we had a blast. We did not island hop at adjectives. We went to Maui and the Big Island from March 15 and return to Ohio on March 23 of this year. We stayed on Maui from March 15th and departed in the afternoon of March 19th. We consequently went to the Big Island. We have a great time on Maui, there is a bunch of things to do, we go snorkeling at Molokini and it was divine! Way better than Haunama (I misspelled it) Bay on Oahu. We also went on a whale watching trip beside Pacific Whale Foundation but depending on when you aregoing to be there they might not enjoy be there anymore. We lately did a lot of driving and siteseeing. We did not own enough time to do the Road to Hana, I hear it is superb but my husband and I just did not want to spend that much time doing a tour twisting and turning. Looking back I desire we had done at lowest a little but we have a great trip anyways! We then go to the Big Island and were a bit disappointed. Seeing adjectives of the brown from the lava flow was cool at first but it be really drab to see after awhile. You want to see beautiful things when you are contained by Hawaii (like Maui) instead of looking at all the brown! We stayed at the Royal Kona Resort (which logically is in Kona) and we took the south channel to the Volcano National Park, which takes roughly speaking 2 hours and 45 minutes. The drive was adjectives up and down in the mountains and next the last 30-45 minutes it is adjectives lava and trees, which is cool and first but then get realyl boring because there is no radio station that comes contained by during that drive!! The day we vanished though we were chitchat with some locals and they said that we took the misshapen way. They said we should hold gone the North way around (which take about 3 hours and 15-30 minutes). They said the North path is a pretty nice drive and is not just mountains and lava. Had we certain that we might have gone the longer means of access. However, I would have enjoy staying on the Island of Maui for 5 days and then the Big Island for 2 only just because I didn’t think at hand was as much of stuff to see and do within. So my answer to you would be to do 4-5 days on Oahu and Maui and only 2-3 days tops on the Big Island. One article that we wished we would enjoy done was swim near dolphins at the Hilton Hotel on the Big Island. The hotel is great to tour but they have a company that you can swim near the dolphins (you can watch them for free). Swimming near them is pretty expensive and you would have to book it in the past you went on break because they told us that they were booked for 2 months. So if you are interested you inevitability to look into that ASAP. I hope you have a great honeymoon anything you decide on doing!
