Uh, how old are you guys? Kids? 20's? 30's? elder than that?

Lets say you start at Powell and Market St. Good inner location.

You can walk down Market st through the financial district to the Ferry Building, well brought-up shops in here, good view of the Bay Bridge, that kind of article. Then you can walk out and steal the "F" line streetcar down to Fisherman's Wharf and see the touristy crap in attendance, check out the sea lions, etc... You can also thieve a 45 minute bay cruise which go under the Golden Gate Bridge and after around Alcatraz and back to the wharf, I estimate its like $20 p/p. Then you can waddle up to North Beach, its right there, simply walk up Columbus Ave, by this time it will be lunch.

On Green St, right rotten of Columbus and before you catch to Grant st, there is Golden Boy pizza, which have good slices for cheap and draft beer contained by an informal setting. There are lots of other Italian places around as well if you want something nicer. If you are of drinking age, the Rogue Brewery on Union and Powell have a nice beer garden and a block away O'Reilly's Pub has table outside if the weather is nice. A good totter is up to the top of Telegraph Hill to Coit Tower, which has amazing view of the GG Bridge and Alcatraz.

Right next to North Beach is Chinatown, and a meander down grant st. take you through all the crap introduction stores, good place to go and get cheesy gifts for people. Or one block uphill is Stockton St, which have all the chineses delis selling wierd fish and peking duck and adjectives the crazy foods.

From there I would hike up California st, uphill to the top of Nob Hill and check out the park up there, its nice, well-mannered views of the city.

You can next walk backbone downhill down Powell St to Union Sq, check out the park and shopping there. Also, the Fairmont Hotel have a cool bar, the Tonga Room that have a fake rainstorm inside it every 20 minutes or so, California and Mason St.

You should be aware that this Saturday is the Gay Pride Parade and pageant further up Market St, and in the Civic Center Plaza, so within will be something like 500,000 family in town for a huge street nouns and party and whatnot. Its a trip to see, huge crowds, live music, its a accurate time even if you're not gay (I'm not, btw) so you might want to check it out.

From there you can rest for somewhat after all that walking, within is a good shopping center at Market and 5th St, its huge. Or you can bring back on a BART train at Powell and Market and go over to 16th St station and pace up Mission St, there is a ton of cheap shops and bars/restaurants surrounded by the area, its kinda dodgy nearby at night, so I would travel during the daytime.

If the sun is out, you can go to Golden Gate Park via the Haight-Ashbury. Take bus #6 #7 or #71 and attain off at Masonic Ave and Haight St. Then hoof it up towards Stanyan St and check out the Haight, then progress into GG park, past the drug dealer and scope the scene at Hippy Hill.

That's a pretty full year, top it off near a dinner downtown or over on Union St (from Haight and Masonic take the #43 bus towards the Marina and gain off at Fillmore and Lombard and hoof it uphill towards Union St.
Ride the cable cars, lunch in Fishermans Wharf, the Golden Gate Bridge for starters. The Marina nouns adjacent to Fishermans Wharf is also a nice nouns. Union Square.
