What is parking resembling at Golden Gate Park surrounded by San Francisco?
Am going to visit Berkeley and want to drive to Golden Gate Park, but enjoy heard parking is a nightmare contained by S.F. - is there a parking lot or garage, what is the cost, and is it expected to be full?

On weekdays I have NEVER have a problem to park on a street. Even my mom, who can't do parallel parking parks in the Golden Gate Park near NO problems at all.
Concerts and events are another story. However, 99% of them are during weekend.
if you step early in the past 12 you should have a problem at golden revenue park they do have parking on side streets i dont meditate we payed more than 5 dollars, visit japenees tea garden while near neat to see
The Music Concourse Garage is open 7:30 a.m.-10 p.m. every sunshine, and costs $2.50 an hour during the week, $3 an hour on weekends (bicycle parking is free). The entrance is at 10th Avenue and Fulton Street. There's also time-limited parking along JFK Drive, MLK Jr. Drive and side streets within the park.
However, be aware that cars are vetoed in guaranteed sections of the park on weekends.
Parking? In San Frisco? It's lately a rumor I assure you. Leave you car at the hotel, rob the Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) into the city and rent a bike. The city is quite compact and comfortable to navigate. Street side parking is all but non-existent and parking garages are mostly surrounded by the central city and cost an arm and a leg. The West side of town GG Park, the Presidio and the bridge are adjectives really close.
I have no problem parking at Golden Gate Park ... We went surrounded by and found a parking right next to the playground for our daughter to run around for a while
We parked at a place where on earth we could park all daylight I think it be 12 bucks at the Pier ... Get that instead of 5-7bucks an hour rate ...
