What are the CAN'T MISS things to do on Maui? Best place to stay?

Where is the best place to stay? Kaanapali Beach, Wailea or Kihei? We do not LIKE dull places with nil to do. We can sit around at home!

The road to Hana is some of the most beautiful stage set in the world. You will relish. Be prepared as this is an all hours of daylight trip. Haleakala is fantastic and one of my favorites. You may want to check into the bike ride down the mountain.
Kihei is my choice for a place to stay. It's laid back and near are several beaches contained by the area beside easy access and appropriate snorkeling. There are good places to guzzle in Kihei and it's unproblematic to get to other places on the island from Kihei. Try Fred's and Stella Blue's for well-mannered food!

On the way to Hana...formulate sure to stop at the black sand beach...at hand is also a cavern tour, waterfall, and botanical gardens to stop at along the way. I would also suggest a luau, a helicoptor ride, and a call in to the Iao Valley State Park. I stayed in kaului and in attendance were lots of shops and restaurants neighbouring. There was one breakfast place that served the best macadamia nut pancakes near papaya syrup. I can't remember the name of the place but apparently it is okay known here.

to escape the asphalt, crowd smell, smut, tourist traps, and

Maui Ocean Center, incredible aquarium in Maalaea Harbor.Walk through Hotels, Kea Lani surrounded by Wailea (looks like Taj Mahal) nextdoor Grand Wailea, spectacular hotel. Drive up north chronological Kapalua Bay Hotel & Ritz Carlton on northwest side of island, you can drive all the method around.Go sailing on a catamaran and a sloop for speed. Learn to surf & windsurf.Aloha.,Have Fun. Sunrise at the Haleakala Crater (Hakleakala means House of the Sun), spectacular sunrises, bring a jacket. I don't know if I got the name right , but I did get the argument right . I suggest traveling the roads for part of a light of day or parts of a couple of days and stopping wherever it 'seems' to be interesting . If it is interesting next great !! If not , then you'll probably own a good roll with laughter and another good story to bring up to date anyways . There is much to be learned of which we do not know . Or my favorite "We don't know what we don't know".
