That being said, I individually am not sure its worth going. If you have Kids, after yes, it probably is, they will really like it. They enjoy some shows and such that they would certainly soak up. If you are over age 20 though, its going to seem kinda corny, unless you are really into that stuff. Staged shows that are supposed to look indisputable, guys running around in armor and tights, booths selling armor, swords and knife, that kind of stuff. I didnt antipathy it when I went, it be kinda funny, but considering how much it costs to go, I also enjoy never gone back (it be 5-6 years ago that I went).
It's been a while since I've be, but I always enjoy it. It helps if you own a sense of humor and enter into the spirit of the thing. There are games and shows (acrobats, comedy act, etc.), jousting, and lots of little shops with artsy things or pointy things or kids things or adjectives of the above.
I think Kroger used to enjoy coupons...
