Is october/november appropriate time to trave to Hawaii?

I am planning to visit Oahu and BigIsland during October lastweek/November first week. Does it rainfall a lot during this time? We are planning to spend seriously of time in shore. Is the water heat good?

I go last November. Water be great. Shorts, swim suit and sun dress is all I needed. I know the rainfall varies but we have none the 8 days we were at hand.. And I am going the 2nd week of October this year.
Yes and no. Yes, the season of rainfall is late September-ish through December; but precipitation can come any time, any day. There be the "40 days of rain" from late February through precipitate April of last year, so again... it's not predictable. Water heat should be good, nonetheless.
I be just within Hawaii last October and it be fine. I go every year around that time and hold never had a problem.
