Are in attendance any interesting sites to pop in on the bearing to Las Vegas from Reno on Hwy 95?
I am going to drive to Las Vegas from Sacramento. I can take I5 consequently 58, but apparently there is another style to go, which is from Reno to Las Vegas via the 95. As long as the drives are comparable, my sound out is whether there is anything worth seeing on the mode to Las Vegas on 95. Thanks.

It's pretty much desert the whole passageway without much to see. You will return with to see a few of the only trial brothels in the USA along the course - they are out in the middle of nowhere. If your aim is speed then this is the route to hold since there are smaller amount elevation changes.
I would suggest taking a route along the brink of Lake Tahoe and then going down through Bishop, CA (on 395 south)...enormously scenic with incredible mountains. Might be a bit more mileage but it's worth the view. You'll remember the California view but quickly forget the Nevada ones.
There is a whole lotta nil - which can mean a faster drive. There are little towns beside interesting mining history and old west type stories. The largest would be Tonopah. When we clutch this drive, we try to count all the brothels - we're getting to the point we can signature them, too.
Not A Thing!!
I approaching that drive. From Sacto you will be going through South lake tahoe and carson city. Very scenic. Heading south from Carson City here are few cool towns to stop in. Make sure you monitor your fuel situation and crawl up when necassary. Keep in mind you will be driving through mostly colossal desert.
Most of US-95 is two lane, but is smoother than I-5 and you can drive much faster (if you choose to). There is Walker Lake, and many small / deserted towns along the means of access.
US-395 is an alternative, but there are too lots CHP patrolling for my chew, and it is considerably longer.
Ditto. We liked the Mammoth Lakes (Mono County) nouns in Cali, but that's on 395. There's a small ghoul town not too far from Beatty that's pretty famous, but it's not worth making a special trip. It be, indeed, a fast drive.
