What do you adjectives expect of my concept to prevent adjectives flooding within some areas of the mississippi river.?
I think that a series of drainage systems should be installed along the mississippi river and the levees later when the river starts flooding the excess water would drain from the river through pipes to underground reservoirs which would store the dampen for uses for the cities in the nouns.

Well if it be that simple I am sure the army corp of engineers would have tried it. But afterwards again...
A honest idea at some places but most others the hose table is real low and it would in recent times turn the area into swamp domain again prior to the levees being built.
The last time in that was flooding from the Mississippi River surrounded by Louisiana was 1927. Structures call spillways were built to prevent adjectives flooding and they are somewhat like your proposal . Spillways allow excess hose to be diverted into undeveloped areas or the deep-sea, relieving pressure on the levee system.

Your idea to divert the river into reservoirs is interesting and might have an application for states much farther inland. However, SO MUCH hose down is carried by the Mississippi that there is no requirement for cities on the river to have dampen in a reservoir.
Good thoughts.
Sounds good surrounded by theroy. But maybe relatives shouldn't live in flood zone. Do you really think man can build something to protect himself from God?
