2 months contained by Indianapolis?
I'm going o/s for a little over 2 months, most of which will be spent contained by Indianapolis, hanging beside my best friend and using it as my base for accom, that sort of point.
I spent ten days there second year and enjoyed it, but didn't go and get to do much sight seeing.
I enjoy been told not to miss Bloomington, any other suggestions of things I should not miss?

Bloomington is outstandingly beautiful as it have different scenery than the flatness of Indy, and home to Indiana University.
Brown County is severely quaint and not too far from Indy.
Within Indy, don't miss the Speedway Museum. If you're into Superman and comics, in that is a Superheroes museum downtown.
If you are coming from overseas, I would go to Chicago for a weekend.
If you're coming during the fall season, variety sure you head down to Brown County and call in down there for a bit. The tip out is a beautiful time to stop by down there.
Check out indydt.com...that website other has up to date information on what is going on contained by the city. You can select specific dates to check out and find information on. If you're over 21, definetely travel to Broad Ripple for the night vivacity, but if you're not just dance during the day there's a dog park unmatched shops and great food!
Nashville, IN is always fun to walk and walk around too. If you clutch 65 all the opening to the columbus/seymour exit then move about right you follow that for a good 15-20min and next you'll hit a T and go right and you're contained by downtown nashville...they also have the little nashville opry in attendance... : )
Chicago is only 2 1/2- 3 hrs away...it's definetely worth the trip...there's the Shedd Aquarium within, beautiful muesems...and mere michigan...w/their navy pier.
There's usually reasonably a few things going on! Check out Massachutts Ave. downtown Indy also...it's unique surrounded by it's very own bearing. :-D Hope this helps and wallow in your trip! Pass the good word on abuot Indy if you delight in it ;)
Oh yea! Check out the IMAX theatre on the waterway that ones really neat! I conjecture they said the screen is 5-6 stories soaring! : )
