What is a well brought-up place to leave for July or August this year?
We want to go somewhere nearby is water. It can be the the deep or a lake (nice sized). We hold no idea where on earth to go, and we want to move about low budget this year. We have a big expense coming up soon, and don't want to spend abundantly on a vacation.
We live on the East coast, and enjoy three kids ages 2, 8 and 14. Any suggestions?

houston texas have alot of things to do with kids. sports/malls/nasa, also theres a great shoreline 30 minutes from downtown its a island called galveston/ it will be highly warm within and the water is other warm and great,also contained by galveston theres a kids waterpark and that is a moment ago a great place, the best beach i assume in usa
I'd recommend Virginia Beach. It's a very family-oriented place. It have a boardwalk running up and down the beach, there's lots of places to stay, and if you stay right on (or close by the beach), you won't have to rent a sports car because everything's within walking distance.
The seaside itself is nice (I think they in truth brought sand in to build it up) and it's public and free.
Another nice place I've not be to, but my sister who has two kids have gone to is Nags Head. There you might be better able to find a house to rent, if that would be your housing nouns. My sister's been nearby 3 times and raves nearly the beach at hand and says it's collectively pretty relaxed and not too crowded.
