What's the commute approaching contained by Tempe?
My fiance and I are relocating to tempe, but we may not find a place in the city so I be wondering what the commute was resembling with ASU one in Tempe...

Hi my husband and I live surrounded by Tempe...just more or less .5 miles away from ASU. The commute anywhere in Phoenix is unpromising during rush hour: 7 AM - 9 AM and then 3:30 PM - 7 PM. ASU doesn't effect you so much unless you are driving in a 1-2 mile radius of the campus. We like it and enjoy not had any problems within regards to the campus man so close...the only issues we own is all the construction going on.
Traffic in Phx is bleak all around. Tempe is no exception. Since ASU is in that, it generates greatly of traffic. Plus, everything is really close together-shops, bars, restaurants, ect, so I find it difficult to get hold of around easily and in a flash. However, if you live, work and attend school within Tempe, you'll figure out how to return with around quickly, whether it's discovering short cuts or utilizing the public transportation.
Like the others own said it depends upon where you will be commuting to from Tempe. The worst would be have to drive into downtown Phoenix from Tempe. Living in the Tempe nouns and driving to the ASU vicinity is no big agreement, but everywhere else during those rush hour time periods is a huge headache both within the AM and PM!
