Where is the best place to live outside of Seatlle?
We are thinking of moving to Seattle from the eastside of Washington. Just wondering where is the best place to live outside of Seattle? The safest, smallest expensive, etc. I was looking at Craigslist and rent is crazy over within. My house payment here is solely $900 so Im worried we wont be able to afford to live nearby.
My guys work is based surrounded by Bellevue but his work is all over the place. So we be thinking of Kent or somewhere that would be cheaper to live but still nice and safe.
Thanks for adjectives the info!

I personally don't charge much for Kent & Auburn and they have a life-size drug problem. Bellevue is about the most expensive sector of WA. When I worked there I only bit the bullet and lived on the Issaquah plateau cuz it's pretty there and out of danger, but not cheap. Anything off the 405 is going to be chock-a-block with traffic so it depends if he have to work reg hours. Good luck, at least you capture to live in Western WA! I can't dally to move back home!! :)
try visiting look up reporters and craigslist but i lived in puyallup and federal route loved it and also depends how far from seattle
As far as prices shift, the further south in King County you step, the less expensive it is. However, this also way more seedy neighborhoods.
Renton is a right place in the middle where on earth it's not terribly expensive but within aren't many impossible neighborhoods either. The Benson Hill neighborhoods are some of the better ones surrounded by Renton.
I would articulate renton, lynnwood, mt lake yard, I live in mill creek it's a bit steep here.
You will find housing much more expensive over here compared to eastern Washington. The median house price in King County is over $400,000.
Finding the right place to live will be a paired act between how much money you are of a mind to spend, and how far out you are willing to budge.
If you are willing to be somewhere that would be a 1 hour or more commute, later you'll get some more restrained housing prices. Kent and Puyallup are good areas to look surrounded by the south. You might consider Duvall, Carnation or Monroe in the east/northeast, and Arlington, Marysville and Stanwood surrounded by the North. But that commute can be quite a tradeoff.
Also, you didn't mention kids. School districts are another item to be considering when choosing a place to live if you have kids. In standard, the better districts are in constraint, and housing prices reflect that. But you can find apt schools within many areas. And logically, you can get great teacher at schools that don't necessarily "show" resourcefully on the rankings.
Good luck!
Wellll, I lived at McHord Air Force base for two years.
