It depends, but usually I stay away from the main fasten stores. For clothes I usually shop in the West Village. I prefer to spend rather more money for something original that not a soul else will be wearing. So I shop at boutiques, where I usually attain to meet the designer and they know me by moniker.
Sure the clothes are a little more expensive than what you'd find at the Gap, but they're more innovative and are better quality. Plus I resembling supporting small privately owned shops rather than huge secure stores.
