Seaport Village and the Gaslamp Quarter are downtown, parking isn't a problem at Seaport Village, you can get a validate ticket at one of the shops or restaurants, it's located on the bay and there's a nice boardwalk and lots of shops and restaurants. You can hit downtown too if you approaching the clubs and nitelife. Good luck.

The Hornblower Dinner Cruise. It leaves from the Broadway pier area and cruises adjectives over San Diego Bay. I lived in SD for over 40 years and it be one of the most fun things I did. There is live music, dancing and great view. The SD skyline at night is superb from the ship's decks. Bring your camera!!
Do the Sea World, Zoo and Gaslamp trips too. It's adjectives good.

I lived in SD for several years, and at hand are just so copious options... Where to set off.
If you like nightlife, afterwards the Gaslamp Quarter is full of restaurants, theaters, dance clubs, etc. While you're downtown, you can spend lots of time, and little money exploring Horton Plaza or Seaport Village.
If you resembling the outdoors, a stroll along the beach almost anywhere can't be pounding. La Jolla is particularly divine and romantic, but I always found it stinging to drive there... ugh, there's resembling one way surrounded by and out!
You can find a little more solitude (by SoCal standards) by strolling along the path at Torrey Pines... some of these will follow bluffs down to quiet beach where you might find complete isolation depending on the time of day/year.
To run in the view, drive out to Cabrillo Nat'l Monument, and enjoy the untold ocean view and city skyline, or drive up to Mount Soledad for a panoramic view of the nouns or take a picnic and delight in the sunset.
There are museums at Balboa Park, history at Old Town and any of the missions in the nouns, amusement at any of the more touristy areas, like Sea World, Legoland (it's even fun for mature with adjectives of the amazing Lego sculptures to extol!) the Zoo and Animal Park. The Animal Park in Escondido have a very relaxing and entertaining hour-long monorail tour through the animal enclosure.
Day trips to Julian, Palomar Observatory, Anza Borrego State Park, Mount Laguna will give you and your significant other plenty of time to really take to know each other.

Try eating at a seafood restaurant on Prospect Drive surrounded by La Jolla and then a hoof it down the beach or some shopping =D
