What are the black men resembling surrounded by Houston?
I am moving to Houston very soon.I am a single, black woman looking for a relationship, however I ;ve be hearing not so devout things about Houston.I've hear of some women living out there for years lacking a date:0! Can anyone give me the head up on what the dating scene is like for a single black women close to myself

well the black men within houston are just similar to anywhere else. you have some dutiful and some bad. you in recent times have to be merciful enough to hold him to come to you. if you havent already moved down here get settled surrounded by and enjoy the southern hospitality. basically remember you are moving from the north to the south and it is different down here. holla back
I am in a relationship near a guy from Houston. We've been together for 2 years and he's wonderful. Don't believe that 60 to 70% of black men within Houston are on crack. I'm speaking from experience and what I know personally which is here are some good, nice men surrounded by Houston and Christian men too who are trying to live their life right and be a suitable example. Of course there are unpromising men everywhere but there are also accurate ones. Sometimes it's hard to find but it will come to you so don't be discouraged.
I am not black, but we have some nice black, single men at our church. And church is the place that I suggest you look for someone. Lots of church-based single groups here contained by Houston. Also, you might consider broadening your horizons and meeting other types of gentlemen---Hispanic, white, Asian, etc. People own more freedom to choose now days. It's something you might consider. The black men here are similar to they are anywhere. Some are professional athletes, some are professional business men, some are loser's, some are players and some are parolees.

There are righteous and bad freshly like anywhere. The guy who said that 60% are doing crack is pulling stats from a place the sun doesn't shine. Your best bet is probably the Sugarland nouns. It is a little more expensive nouns, but that seems to be where on earth the African Americans go to acquire out of 'da hood.' Many of our local athletes live there. Shaq's baby-momma lives in attendance, too.
