Miami Beach--Newport Beachside Hotel & Resort or Howard Johnson Dezerland Beach and Spa?
Going on a cruise with my relations and would like to stay at any of the hotels above with husband and 2 daughters (15 and 7) for darkness before and darkness after cruise. Any recommendations on either--good or doomed to failure? THANKS FOR THE HELP!
Answers:
Both are older ('60's or so) re-furbished hotels. Newport (Sunny Isles) is bigger & slightly a bit further north than Dezerland (Surfside). Both are on the beach contained by safe neighborhoods. Neither are close to South Beach or the Port of Miami.
