Can you recommend a Boston Area Inn or B&B?

Four women will be gathering for a family circle reunion in Boston on Nov. 1 (a Thursday) and later driving to Vermont the next light of day. Would love a charming B&B that is adequate and will let us stay of late one night - have a living room, etc., would be great. Our choice would be to have four bedrooms a bit than sharing.

The reservation services won't talk to me for smaller quantity than two nights.

Anybody own any ideas of places to stay that would be reachable from the airport and doing a tour North?
