10 hour layover 11am - 9pm surrounded by Portland beside 2 little kids, any suggestion? Any hotels near rash check surrounded by??
I have checked lots hotels so we can relax but most of them won't allow check in until 3pm. Doesnt really seem to be worth it to pay $100 for solely 3pm until 9pm. Does anyone know of a hotel nearby that would allow a sunshine rate? Also we would love to go to IKEA, how would we achieve there from the airport? Thanks!

Stay at the Holiday Inn Express at 11938 NE Airport Way. Tell them that you'll entail early check within when you make your reservations. They're really nice going on for it. They have a free shuttle that will give somebody a lift you to and from the airport.
IKEA is about 1 mile down the street from the Holiday Inn Express. The hotel shuttle driver would probably hold you to IKEA.
I can't tell you on where on earth to try and stay along the lines of a motel, however, on what to do with the kids...at hand is some options.
I would significantly suggest getting on the Max...It's the mass transit train that now have airport service. The Max goes by IKEA, as okay and through out the city. One could just ride it around and see the sights, as all right as stop off at a few places such as shopping centers, restraunts, and parks.
IKEA is right down the road from the airport..possibly 1 or 2 stops on lightrail. And the light railing (MAX) stops right outside the airport.it's very convenient.
I actually help open the Ikea contained by portland. The public transportation in the city is Amazing! You can detain a shuttle to and from the airport to two nearby Hotels. From the airport you can also ride the max into the city or directly to Ikea. There really is no involve for a car rental or anything. Also the Ikea here lets you drop bad your kids I believe 37-54 inches fully potty trained into their one hour free day diligence that has a orb pit and every thing, you can even procure an inexspensive dinner there too. The max have signs to let you know which train to fence in to get you where on earth you need. Have fun, I'm sure you'll wallow in your visit!
