Where are fitting parking locations in the neighbourhood Grant Park within Chicago? It requests to be overnight Friday through Sunday.?
We are going to Lollapalooza and dont want to pay an arm and a leg to park. does anyone know of some cheap see of parking?
Answers:
If you do park on side streets for housing, brand sure you don't need residential parking authorization. You may come back to your sports car with a boot on it.
Also, I would pocket the El and not the Bus.
DO NOT drive downtown during Lolla or any other big event in Chicago. Driving and parking are a nightmare at those times. Best bet is to pocket CTA. Chicago is one of the few cities where the public transit system can go and get you to any part of the city. Take power of it. You will save yourself a big headache and allot of money by not driving.
My suggestion: drive a bit further north (about 1200-1800 block) of Clark or Lincoln and park on a side street where nearby is housing. You shouldn't have a problem near street cleaning during the weekend, so just produce sure that it's generally allowed.
From within, walk to Clark Street (or almost an N-S running street) and rob the bus ($1.50) or a taxi downtown. If you want to spend the money you purely saved, own a few warm-up beers on Division Street.
There aren't any. So get in position to cough up the arm & leg!!
