Need opinion on what the weather is resembling on the mountain driving from oregon to vegas!?

I am planning a trip to vegas and would like to drive straight down 1-5 closing of march..do you dream up i would make it ok over the mountains surrounded by a mazda 3? i would be coming from portland...or does anyone have a different route that might be better? gratefulness!

You should be fine. I drove up there 4x's beside my grandma in her Honda Accord. Around duplicate time of year, beginning of April.
