Anyone adapted next to St. Louis and shopping close by the Rams dome?
Hello, I will be going to a game at the Edward Jones dome this weekend and I dream up we are going to be staying all darkness the night previously. We were wanting to win some xmas shopping done, but I am completely lost in St. Louis. Does anyone know where on earth I can shop or know of any decent hotels surrounded by that area? Or know of any confident routes to get to a shopping nouns? We will be coming from Illinois, North I-55. thanks!

If you want to stay downtown, the Drury Inns are likely and very comfortable. We live here and put up out of town relatives at hand all the time. You can hike to the Dome from one of these Drury Hotels. I wouldnt recommend shopping downtown except for Macys. I would get on Highway 40 and carry off at Brentwood and dance north a block to the Galeria shopping mall. It have lots of good stores. Right accross Brentwood from the Galeria is another shopping center beside stores like Crate and Barrel etc. Just south of Highway 40 on Brentwood is a shopping center beside lots of other stores including a Target and Trader Joes. REI sports store is also on Brentwood. Enjoy your visit. Hope the snow doesnt spoil your plans.

Shopping downtown is not that great. You would be better sour to drive to a nearby precinct.

No. Do NOT walk to the shopping centre by the dome. It's almost completely deserted.
If you want to dance shopping, I suggest you go to West County Mall. It's the BEST shopping arcade in St. Louis.

Hope you delight in your stay! If you're willing to spend some money the Chase Park Plaza hotel on Kingshighway is VERY nice but pricey. But since you're coming from I-55, near are LOTS of hotels downtown.

The Galleria is nice it is right rotten Hwy 40 at Brentwood Blvd. If you are looking for something near the dome, forget it, in that isnt anything good...association station is a joke do not dissipate you time.The only pick you really have downtown would be some speciality shops on Washington Ave and Locust...
wish I could dispense you specifics, but I'm still learning the streets myself. I'd articulate start at the St. Louis Visitors Center, listed below. Those are some nice associates and will definitely assist. You can also search at Yelp, a great local review site.
What sympathetic of shopping are you looking for? There are a few malls in town that are pretty polite - the St. Louis Galleria has deeply covered, there's also Plaza Frontenac, but that's more expensive. The Central West End has a few shops to hit up. For a younger crowd, try Delmar Blvd within the Loop area.
It's snowy...and supposed to adjectives weekend. You may want to go to Union Station downtown. Great building, more touristy stores. Less traveling on snow covered streets if it get to be a real mess.
