First time to Vegas, any guidance?
Hi, my husband and I are planning to go to Las Vegas sometime this year, we enjoy never been formerly and would like some warning on where to stay, which casinos are the best for beginners and any apt websites? All information is appreciated!!
Answers:
lots of hotel/casinos own specials, check a few websites. Food is cheap because of the many specials, and most casinos own some free things to do to kill some time.
Not sure which ones are the best lately, but several years back I stayed at Circus,Circus and have a fine time, on the cheap too.
Do yourself a favour and check out some current websites. I'd google; "vegas cheap" and see what comes up.
here, this should obtain you started...

Stay at the luxor its awesome!
While you are there nick a helicopter trip through the grand canyon to.
Vegas is soooooo..cool, check out Blue Man Group.lovin it.
Enjoy all the cheap food the casino's use to verbs you in and don't bet a cent.
Don't forget to try out any of the shopping malls, located slighlty stale the "strip", usually a bus ride away if you don't have a rent a saloon.
Also use any 2 for 1 tickets, free buffet, free this and that you may have surrounded by your hotel room, they are worth trying.also do take within at least one big Las Vegas show, it is a few years since I be there, but I saw Tom Jones, SigFried and Roy, I would love to own seen Elvis...but later you never know you might just!!...Enjoy the trip desire I was beside you!!
SET A GAMBLING BUDGET! Each day administer each of you a set amount of money to drop and specifically it. I use the two bucket system. Starting money in top bucket and every time I currency out, I put that money in the bottom bucket. When the top bucket is aimless, check out your bottom bucket to see how much you've won. The majority of hotels give having a bet classes.Fun. Gamble where you resembling the atmosphere the best, they all own pretty much the same likelihood. Lady Luck doesn't stay in impossible to tell apart spot all the time =D (I really approaching the Bellagio.it smells like a summer garden and the drinks are awesome!)
This is your first time.STAY ON THE STRIP within the middle!! The traffic is far too heavy to endow with you time to look at a map or program "TomTom". The only black cab you'll need is to budge to Freemont Street one night (A MUST) To stay centrally located, reason Excaliber it may be one of the cheapest. (You'll probably only sleep surrounded by your room, so much to do) We stay at the MGM or NYNY very habitually. Awesome location for newbee's . Always clean and severely well bedecked rooms, and the cusotmer service is great! Also depending on how much you gamble, their players clubs are coupled with several hotels giving you more time to gather together comps toward your room and meals (join the players club at every casino you can, lots of free stuff.don't forget to provide you card to the dealer or put within slot machine and consequently don't forget to take it OUT =D)
Shows..A Cirque De Sole production (Karr, Zoomanity(adults individual and very funny and amazing), etc) are phenomenal!! They a moment ago put in a complete replica of the Pantages Theatre contained by Toronto exclusively for the Phantom of the Opera..if you've never seen this or own and love it.ya gotta go! Your hotel Conciere (sp?) will set adjectives the shows up for you, including trips to the canyon.
Really you just have need of a flight and hotel to start with. Just taking surrounded by the sites for the first time is going to exhaust you. Expand your walk every morning and you'll see just something like every thing. Do a flight/hotel turn upside down combo on Expedia or Travelocity and get a have a feeling for what you are going to pay. It does capture chilly in Vegas so the pools do close for the winter months (and some of the pools are a site contained by themselves (so if this is important to you, hold that in mind for your travel dates). Hot surrounded by the rest but alot of the hotels put out misters to keep you cool while walking on the strip. Walking around and seeing the sites and intake and gambling will consume you for days. Bring super comfortable shoes!! Thats what you'll be contained by most of the time. Maybe one or two nicer outfits for a show or nice dinner and shorts, t-shirts and a light jacket or sweater.
Relax, don't overplan, Vegas evolves. Enjoy!
Yes, don't have a flutter!
The Lion Habitat at the MGM Grand
The wax museum at The Venitian
The Bellagio Water fountains
The Freemont St. Experience
The eternal array of shows
Shopping
Grambling
What isnt there to do contained by Vegas!?!?!? Have fun!
I agree next to Cylone Ranger, cheapovegas is an excellent site
Vegas is the best ever!
We stayed in the Treasure Island (TI) Its a brill hotel and I found it to be contained by the best location.
Most of the casions are the same, I played roullette most of the time (which be not a lot!), I did play on a slot tool and I put in $0.05 and won $120!
You enjoy to go the Grand C. There is also a really huge shopping shopping arcade behind the TI Hotel - where on earth most of my money went! Also you enjoy to go to the Stratosphere hotel and see Vegas at hours of darkness from the viewing tower, we also did the rides on top - they are scary!
Check out the resident shows also they are out of this world.

*Bring good walking shoes
*Bring chapstick (trust me)
*Bring nice attire if you plan to hit any big nightclub
*Don't do the timeshare tours for free coupons. It will totally ruin your vacation!!
*Stay within a cheaper hotel off of the strip. You won't spend much time contained by your hotel room anyways
*Don't stay longer then 3 night
*Only see old Vegas if you are near for 3 nights or more
*Budget at lowest possible $200 a day per party to blow
*Gamble in the smaller casinos
*Sun to Thurs are the cheapest air+hotel packages
*Learn how to play Pai Gow Poker if you want your laying a bet $$ to last longer
*Always play the Max on the Slot machines
*Never Play Keno,,,probability are way against you
*Watch and/or narrative all of the Vegas Shows on the Travel Channel,,,great info
One thing to remember if you are not into watching topless women dance don't go to simply any musical the hotel recommends, ask first because to be precise the "highlight" of a lot of the numbers contained by Vegas, your hubby will love it though...;)
Depends how long you want to stay, if you’d like to see the deserts and nouns surrounding the city of Vegas in Nevada, later save yourself a great deal of money and stay outside the city, and rent a car so you can travel contained by every day. We stayed within the Luxor when we went, but we be only within for 3 days so it wasn’t too expensive.
As for casinos, all of Vegas’s having a bet centres are govern by the same regulations in a minute so nowhere should be ‘unfair’, however for better odds of in the lead, make sure you play surrounded by hotel casinos (pretty much all of the casinos are owned by the giant hotels). This is because they brand most of their money from their rooms and food, and gambling isn’t their primary income so their machines salary out more! (As for real card games, in that is no difference really).
If you want to visit the Red Rock Canyon, book a helicopter immediately but bear contained by mind how expensive it can be. You can visit other canyon, not so impressive but still suitable, by car – which I recommend so generate sure you rent a good sports car. And if you win at the casino, you may just move about for it and book the Red Rock tour. I know somebody who bet $100 on a roulette game and his special number came up and the winnings remunerated for his whole leave! Just don’t expect the same and lose more than you can afford…
other bet on black!
If you are going to step on the cheap and want to be on the strip. I would look at the Tropicana. The Circus Circus is too far north from all the achievement. The Trop is right by the NYNY, Luxor, Mandalay Bay and MGM Grand to name a few. It may be a bit elder but the rooms are clean, the staff nice and great deal can be had.
If I could stay anyplace I needed, I would try the Paris. That would be more romantic if that is what you are looking for. I hold read to ask for a room overlooking the front so you can see the Bellagio fountain show right from your room.
My hubby and I rode the gondola ride at the Venetian and I will always remember that.
For dining I like the Toby Keith I Love This Bar & Grill. There is also a cool Margaritaville there.
My fave casino to pace around in is NYNY. Lot's to see and a quicker, cheaper food nouns set up like Greenwich rural community is very cool to hang down around at.
You will never be bored in Las Vegas. Not solitary is it affordable, and very luxurious but full of goings-on. You don't have to wage or have deeply of money to have a great time.
