Going on biz trip to NYC. Have 4 hours to myself surrounded by time square nouns, what should i do? see?
Answers:
Got to travel to top of the Roc at Rocafeller. Also, Gordon Ramsay has a resteraunt and Bar at the London Hotel. If you want to do something cheap, dance to Mc Donalds and stare at all the abnormal people that move about. The times square Mc Donald's is like the tavern in Star Wars.
I would progress see Ground Zero and pay a tribute to the nouns, otherwise just tramp around and have fun. =o)
Four hours merely isn't enough to obtain all around town, but if you stay contained by the Times Sq. area, here are some suggestions:
Madame Tussad's wax museum (42nd / close to 8th Ave.)
TKTS - broadway show tickets at a discount
MTV HQ - may see some stars
Top of the Roc - Rockefeller Ctr (6th Ave and 49th St.)
close to Radio City Music Hall as capably
walk final up to 5th Avenue up to 59th and window shop at the great stores (Tiffany, Saks, FAOs, Cartier, Bergdoff, etc.) endorsement St. Patrick's Cathedral - what a sight and save eyes open for celeb / athletes alike.
Going southbound, Bryant Park on 6th Ave (Avenue of the Americas) is other great to walk around contained by. Currently filming the movie Sex and the City within. Caught some great shots of the cast
On your path east on 42nd, you can see the Crysler Bldg on 42nd / Lexington Avenue
Or stay on Fifth (other side of Bryant Park) and take surrounded by the NY Public Library (40th & 5th Ave.) and walk south to the Empire State Building on 34th / 5th Avenue
Simply put, if you totter along 5th Avenue from 33rd Street to 59th, you'll see many things and come together interesting people along the mode. If you're hungry - try Virgil's BBQ on 44th off of Broadway, Carmine's is great for groups since it is kith and kin style eating, ESPN Zone have great sliders and offers a great time - on the corner of 42nd & Broadway.
Happy Travels!
only just walk.. trust me.. you'll find things.. freshly looking at all the buildings and unexpected people is fun lol.. im going in attendance tonight actually...
Well make sure you see the Statue of Liberty!
Have Funnnnn! =]
