Safe hotel?

I'm going to San Antonio the first week of August. I'm a single mom taking my four year old son. I be wondering if someone could tell me of a verbs, decent, protected hotel to stay at. We are planning to go to Sea World for 2 days and after maybe run to the Riverwalk or something. I'm not real picky give or take a few hotels. I'm just unsure of the neighborhoods, and I want it to be CLEAN!! I've checked trip advisor.com but haven't be told much about the nouns surrounding the hotel. Thanks!!

We love the Pear Tree on the NE side of Midland.

It is a clad price, clean, and the staff is great. We other stay there when we shift and we go slightly often.
All you own to do is get on the 410 and it take you to Sea World.
I looked on Orbitz, but travelocity and others are just as upright. Stick to the Northwest side near the Seaworld if that's where on earth you'll be, but if you plan to drive around a bit, anywhere on the northside or northcentral side is a good close drive. Between Loop 410 and Loop 1604 are well-mannered. Get a map so you have an impression where you are looking. Here are some planning:

Red Roof Inn San Antonio West - SeaWorld from $62
per night
Palace Inn from $59 per dark
Oak Hills Medical Center and Extended Hills from $65
per night
Motel 6 San Antonio - Bandera Road from $54 per hours of darkness
Studio 6 San Antonio - Medical Center from $59 per night
A couple of ideas:

Either of the two Marriott hotels on the Riverwalk are good--we've stayed at both--one is a bit newer than the other.

Also, the Menger Hotel is obedient.

One super-fun place for kids is the Hyatt Hill Country Resort. It has a wonderful resort-style pool and a slothful river. It isn't on the Riverwalk, but your son would love it! They're very accommodating in that.
Just just about anyplace on the north side of San Antonio is fine. Any of the hotels off of 1604 or I 10 close to Sea World are going to be pretty different. You didn't say how much you considered necessary to spend. Anyplace downtown will be much more expensive. I have no opinion who you have be talking to, but San Antonio is a pretty safe and sound place to go.

Enjoy!
If budget is a factor, I would suggest that you could stay at the Motel 6 on the access road to I-410 between Marbach Rd and Hwy-90 This is Less than $50.00 a hours of darkness and is safew also. You are just a short distance to Sea World and individual a few minutes to down town.

There is also a Studio 6 not very far from Sea World also. It is beneath $80.00 a night.

People have some appropriate suggestion for you already so I'll just make a payment this to help come you alittle.

San Antonio is faily not detrimental. Most lower income areas are working class. This means they work sturdy and party rock-hard, but for the most part they are beneficial, they just look rough.
-The Hyatt Regency Riverwalk. I've stayed at hand a couple of times. It's super clean, and a deeply safe hotel.
-The Marriott Rivercenter or Riverwalk. Those are some really nice hotels. The Marriott Rivercenter is attached to The Rivercenter Mall.
-I'd take heed around the the Sea World area within is some good and impossible parts. At the downtown hotels there is general public all around if you plan on "turning contained by for the day" late at dark. A lot of the hotels around Sea World are by them selves, not too many empire. The only source I say this is becuase you're a single mom, you hear it over and over again on TV going on for things happening to ethnic group who are alone.
Geez, San Antonio isn't THAT scary. Any hotel practical Sea World will be nice. Any Marriott garden suites are nice...they are a chain which keep everything clean.

Everything close at hand the tourist areas will be fine. It's just the south, and west sides of town that are sketchy. Just look for a hotel close to Sea World which is a decipherable chain, and you'll be fine.
