I'm planning a trip to San Diego. What is the best coast that I should call on?
I have never be to California and HAVE to visit the best sand in the nouns while I'm there. What are your recommendation? Are there any nice but affordable hotels on the seaside?

Yes, you must visit the sand at Coronado. Afterward, drive north of SD and visit the sand after hiking around Torrey Pines park.
There are 70 miles of coastline in San Diego, which manner lots of beaches. Some beach are better for surfing...others better for children, fishing, beach volleyball, dark life, etc. It really depends on what you want to do at the seaside. Just returned from a 16 light of day visit from my hometown, San Diego! I miss SD so much!
My son's chief thing he considered necessary to do, while we were at hand, was boogie boarding at the beach. Went to Coronado, La Jolla Shores and La Jolla Coves.
He thoroughly enjoyed Coronado and La Jolla Shores for boogie boarding, and really like La Jolla Coves for some relaxing snorkeling, since you're not allowed to surf or boogie board at the Coves, due to the humour of the waves and rip tides. Many choose the LJ Coves for a short time ago laying out, some wade in the hose down, snorkeling, diving, fishing, and watching the seals. And Shell Beach at LJ Coves is awesome for exploring the tidepools at low tide; which within the summer is early, untimely in the morning. Check on-line for low tide level for the days you'll be in San Diego.
My son and daughter throughly enjoy the tidepools. Especially, since we had parking spots at our choosing; practically have the beach to ourselves; it be neither cold or hot, and it was pretty serene...
There be definitely masses hotels and motels right at the beaches, where on earth we had visit. But, I am unsure of the rates.
La Jolla is my favorite beach, have grown up in San Diego. The title of best shoreline, is up for question, as plentiful of San Diego's beaches enjoy their own special quality roughly speaking them.
One thing for sure, parking up close at the beach will be a challenge as the postponed morning goes into noontime. It's no problem if you're staying at frequent of the nice hotels and motels that are along the beaches.

I really like the sand on Coronado Island, there's a public
beach subsequent to the Del Coronado, the old hotel that be
used as the resort in the infirm black and white movie,
Some Like It Hot with Tony Curtis, Jack Lemmon and
Marilyn Monroe. The weak hotel is really neat, you can hoof it
thru a lot of it and in that are photos from the movie posted
around, plus a lot of adjectives the old time movie stars that stayed
nearby. We hung out at the beach after have a nice
brunch at the hotel. There are some really nice beaches
further north but htis one is my favorite.
Coronado, Del Mar, Torrey Pines is one of my favorites, Some of the North County beach are great, La Jolla has some righteous beaches - you can swim near the leopard sharks at the Shores.
We really don't have any desperate beaches surrounded by SD per se. Coronado is the best family sand. It's a nice location because there are also like mad of restaurants and shops. La Jolla Shores and Del Mar are great too. Mission Beach, Ocean Beach and Pacific Beach are a bit more rowdy but as far is "beach" goes they're still fitting beaches. There are more beach you could checkout North of Del Mar that are all nice as all right, but for visitors I usually recommend that you pop in some place closer to town, between Coronado and Del Mar. Hotels near the hose are always going to be more expensive. Coronado, La Jolla and Del Mar are more expensive than other places around town. It of late depends on your budget and what you expect for your money. Personally I would either try to find something around Mission Bay or if I'm on a tight budget I'd of late look for a room in Hotel Circle along the I-8.that nouns is very centally located to adjectives the tourist attractions and you might find a good deal.
