my parents are paying for my family and i to run with them to las vegas,,the solitary thing is my son is single nine years old,,my grill is ,,,,whats to do for a nine year old boy within las vegas

First of all it's my ancestral and ME. Secondly, leave the 9 year behind the times at home with Grandma. Daddy have no parents? Then decline the offer. Your child's welfare comes first and Las Vegas is no place for a 9 year out-of-date. Tell your parents to spring for Disney instead.

i recommend the adventuredome in circus circus.
There's lots of things for a kid to do. First hopefully the hotel you're staying at have quite a few comings and goings like swimming for example. There's the hotel circus circus on the strip which is necessarily a giant indoor amusement park. You can take your son to a trickery show or even a cirque du soleil show. There's also an M&M and Coca Cola Store which is pretty interesting. Each hotel on the strip has things to set aside. Other examples would be going to the zoo at the Mirage, or watching the pirate show at Treasure Island or a medieval feast at Exalibur. I suggest getting a travel book or going to google for more info.
Las Vegas isn't dangerous for kids. Plenty of population who live and work here have children, I'm so sick of that attitude. I really wonder if those believe that everyone who works in the casinos, restaurants, etc is required to be single and sterile.
There's the shark reef, my 7 year prehistoric loves it. The adventuredome would probably be good, he should be big plenty for most of the rides.
Just don't take him on the strip after menacing, and don't drag him around the casino while you gamble. That's what the locals obtain sick of seeing and why they're sometimes rude to people who come here near kids.
There are lots a 9yr old can do. As far as entertaining kids are concerned, here are lots of attractions and activities surrounded by Las Vegas.
