NYC hotel/motel/inn?
howdy. this is what i'm looking for:
a place in manhattan but away from the crowds.
a place near character. trashy is ok, but not too trashy.
within a safe nouns, as i will be alone.
i was looking at the West Side Inn and Hostel, but maybe something a little cleaner.

try the skyline hotel in Hell's Kitchen..
The Elk Hotel. 360 W 42nd St. $60 per darkness, and if you're lucky you can get a room near a private bathroom.
