Birthday 3-night getaway from Detroit?
I am looking for some ideas for a 3-night weekend getaway for my birthday which is coming up at the finishing of the month, was a moment ago wondering what would be nice for a thursday-sunday weekend getaway, perferably in the sun and coast.

For relaxation, you can drop by some beach resort. You might want to bear a trip to La Jolla which is located 4 miles (6km) north of San Diego’s Mission Bay. This is a beautiful place beside cliffs and coves. The most scenic location is the La Jolla Cove and the Ellen Browning Scripps Park (at Boomer Beach).

Here is an idea: progress to Ft Meyers, fla
Leave DTW the evening of the 23rd and return the morning of the 27th on Spirit Air.
They have $75 dollar flights to Ft. Meyers on Fla's west coast beside return flights at $119.
You depart DTW at 8pm and arrive in Ft Meyers at 10:45. The returning flights move at 7AM and arrive in DTW around 11 AM.
If you must be at work on monday morning, the ending flight out of Ft. Meyers leaves at 6:30 PM and arrives in DTW at 9:45 PM cost: $169
Check out the manatee fjord bed and breakfast. They have studio apartments beside kitchens occ. rooms that top out at $155 or so.
depends on how much you want to spend. a cruise is the best process to travel. The Keys are always pretty nice. Mexico is heat up. all depends on your $$$
Miami...its awesome at hand...but expensive.if that doesnt work grab a tent and boss to metro beach.it'll be sunny and beachy but cold
