Help me to choose between Washing Zoo OR Baltimore inner haven totter?
Pls help me to chose between above. We have been to DC and see most of the museums. This cherry blossom,we will visit again and spend 12th apr, at DC. We are planning any to drive and visit baltimore for 4-5 hrs OR turn to DC zoo (for 5 yr old son). Help me to choose. Never be to baltimore, thinking of brief visiting it for few hrs (13th morning drive from DC hotel , spend 4-5 hrs and drive put a bet on for 5 hrs). Is it feasible? OR DC zoo would be better? Thanks contained by advance for tips.

Choose the Zoo. Your five year old will love it. As soon as you seize in...stir towards the bear exhibit and look for the undergo that roams up and down a tree. Very funny sight that your son will chortle at.
Regarding parking at the Inner Harbor in Baltimore, nearby are many parking garages on the surrounding streets--just look for the signs. Be aware that they are adjectives fairly expensive (I believe that you will payment about $15 for six hours, but I could be wrong). There's little or no street parking surrounded by the area, which allows the garages to charge anything they want.
I lived surrounded by DC for 5 yrs and loved it. Can't say that Baltimore is one of my favorite destinations, but if you've never be, you should go for the sunshine just to influence you've been nearby. We mostly just strolled around the inner harbor and rode a wet taxi around, and later had dinner at one of the heaps places on the harbor. There is a large aquarium and science center stale to the side of the harbor that your son might enjoy. And you can climb the world trade center building for some nice view.
If you do decide to stay within DC, the zoo is quite nice. It's lovely to wander around in, and the pandas are great. You could combine the zoo with a pop in to the National Cathedral, which is quite majestic. Also, my favorite Mexican restaurant is just one block up Wisconsin Ave from the cathedral -- it's call Cactus Cantina. They have a tortilla making contrivance right by the entrance and you can watch them making the tortillas earlier before deliver them to your table. Try the fajitas, which are fantastic.
Happy travels!
if seeing animals is your thing consequently dc zoo is it. also, location of the zoo isn't near anything else.
You could park and spend rest of year walking and seeing Baltimore harbor.crab cake, Baltimore aquarium, harbor, shops...etc.
I've taken kids on fields trips to the aqarium, the science center, and the zoo. Honestly, I'd influence it depends on the energy level of you and the 5 year old, and possibly the weather. Baltimore's indoor atrractions can use up excessive kid strength, but the zoo is very spread out. The kids greatly enjoy all three of them.
I'm trying to remember where on earth the train station in relation to the Harbor, and if y'all wouldn't delight in taking the train more.
Go to the Inner Harbor, they've got a great aquarium here, the National Aquarium in Baltimore. Look it up on the network. The dophin show is great, and there are places to chomp through right there on the harbor.
