Vegas hotels, Excalibur vs. Imperial?
Which should i stay at? they are both in my price inventory.. i want it to be a good spot for my kids and parents.. we're have 15 people contained by our party. are the rooms nice? any more details would be sympathetic? i'm on a budget but want to be in the right spot of the strip.

Excalibur is a GREAT hotel! My mother stays there every time she comes to Vegas to stop by me (usually 3 - 4 times a year!) and she LOVES it!
Also, it's a great location since you're bringing your kids... M&M world is close by, as well as the roller coaster & huge arcade basically across the catwalk at NYNY!
I've never been within the ROOMS at Imperial Palace, but the overall feel of the casino seem kinda old & rundown to me... I specifically like Excaliber a LOT better!!
There are always tons of kids at the Excalibur...I recommend you jump there. Imperial is great, but I it's a much more evolve clientele.
If they're both contained by your price range, travel with Excalibur. Imperial have a better location but Excalibur is better for kids and it is a nicer hotel in common.
We ALWAYS stay at Excalibur because its not ritzy, you can a moment ago be yourself, and it's in a great location. You can amble to Imperial Palace from Excalibur. We just booked Excalibur for our 5-night trip this March for $51/night on the $10 stale internet rate promotion (it is right on the website) We are paying a total of $280. Plus Excalibur lets kids stay free where on earth most other hotels charge you for them as extra adults. So Excalibur is one of the best hotels for kids, we are bringing our kids this year also. It is the most budget friendly hotel on the strip that is close to everything, plus you are staying within a castle. Come on, the medieval motif is awesome! The rooms are your basic hotel rooms, they don't own bath tubs, though, lone HUGE showers. I haven't tried any of the new rooms that they renovated even so, but I'm sure they're nicer. Have Fun! Excalibur is good for kids but Imperial Palace is where on earth I ALWAYS stay (I've accumulated 44 days of my existence in this casino, and I am simply 14!). Imperial has a pool and nice rooms.
I stayed at the Imperial Palace - it's severely nice for the price. Plus, it's in an excellent location. I would recommend it!

Really depends on what you want.
I hold stayed at both hotels, and they both have some nice advantages for your situation. Excalibur is excellent for the kids, if they are roughly speaking 8 to 15. They have a fantastic arcade, the shows within are great, especially the dinner/knight show, and the rooms are OK. Nothing special, not that large, but verbs and generally presentable. Good pool in that also where everyone can suspend out at..
Main advantage for the Imperial is the location. Right within the middle of the strip. However, Excalibur is not in a shabby location any. MGM, M and M World and New York, New York are all close by there, near things to do.
I thought the Imperial's rooms were a bit smaller than the Excalibur, and a bit more smoke ridden, but the price be very fully clad for the location. I had no complaints per se, but when I go to the Imperial, I went alone, and in that is not as much for the kids to do. I have be to the Excalibur with the kids when they be 8 and 11, and they had seriously of fun!
Since you mentioned the kids and parents part of it, I would choose the Excalibur over the Imperial because of the extra amenities.
