18 & Over Clubs surrounded by LA?
Hey, i'm turning 18 soon and want to go clubbing beside some friends in Los Angeles. Do you guys know of any great clubs contained by Los Angeles that are 18 and over? I've heard of the club Area and Hyde, but are those 18 and over? I'm looking for a club near a "club" atmosphere, good music, within the nice SAFE part of LA ...lol

Area and Hyde are not 18 and over. I am pretty sure Avalon is immediately 18+ on Friday nights, which is probably the tiniest scary of the 18+ clubs.

There are two chief problems that face club owners when trying to hold a teen dance club: Money and liability. First, teens can't buy alcoholic drinks, which is the big money originator for any club. Second, if teens are allowed into a club which serves alcohol, there's nothing stopping someone over 21 from buying drinks for the teen, and the liability increases exponentially from in that. Possible outcomes of teen drinking are manifold, and the club worker could lose his license to serve alcohol (there goes the money article again).
Some of the coolest clubs are in some pretty dicey areas. I'm not yer daddy, but look out out there! Here are a few places that hold at least some night that are 18+. Once again, be careful: These places may be frequented by jerk who just want to pick up some pretty young at heart naive girls for their own pleasure. NEVER adopt a drink you didn't see the bartender pour yourself. And it's a good perception to go near someone who has a vehicle. You can watch respectively other's back.
