How much do you want to spend? Do you want to rent or buy? Where will you be working? Without this information we cannot acceptably help you.
plano, carrolton, farmers branch, frisco, las colinas
screw harry hines i would never live there, even though its close to korea town.
Highlands Park (but pretty expensive and kinda a doomed to failure rep for being snooty), Plano, Lewisville, the Southlake/Grapevine/Colleyville/Keller nouns.
Probably in Frisco. It is a exceedingly family orient community and I believe that the crime rate is pretty low.*
I've lived within Dallas all my time.

For south Dallas - Midlothian (25 minute drive into dallas)

For East Dallas I would go to Mesquite or Rowlett

For North Dallas I would shift to Plano (west side) or Carrolton.

For West Dallas I would forget it.

For in Dallas city edges, I would go essential Northpark mall. Perhaps the Lakewood nouns (nice reasonably priced grandma neighborhood).

Hope this help. If you need more info
