Visit Alaska subsequent week?
Is there rime, snow in road?is Alaska train running? Denali national park instigate? Seward or Homer, which is better?
Thanks.
Answers:
Roads are dry for the most part within southern Alaska however, we are still getting snow from time to time, but that might change (the heat is expected to jump up to the 50s subsequent week). Farther north, you will probably run into ice.
The train is other running. Denali National park is open year round, however most those start going there within mid may.
As a town, I like Homer better. Seward is a unbelievably strange place, although it does have the Sea Life Center which is really neat. Seward have the feeling of a apparition town with a tourist disguise, and a lot of weekend fishermen. Basically nil there feel "local". There are no good restaurants, unless you are REALLY into fish and chips.
Homer is awesome, great food, nice beach, good fishing, fun bar, cool people, and its really lovely. If you can find a boat or water minicab, go explore Halibut Cove across the creek.
