What are some places to progress practical Universal Studios Los Angeles?
We're going on vacation and we're trying to find things to do in a two day spell but we don't want to go on beach because we have it planned for another time. so i be wondering if there be any other places to go.

Make sure you eat at the In&Out Burger simply outside the gate. The burgers, fries and shakes are great--and it feel like such other after the prices at Universal.
The 99 Cents Store where on earth the movie stars like Eva Longoria and Sharon Stone shop for their snacks and goodies, everything is 99 cents for unadulterated and it's a few blocks down from Universal, or you can walk a bit and see where on earth they film Jay Leno and see the those lining up for show, after you memorize their features and dress and find them on the show that night!
There are literally hundreds of things to do here contained by LA. Here is my top ten list:
Disneyland: The Happiest Place on Earth. Half a billion people can’t be wrong. (Sometimes it seems adjectives at once)
Universal Studios: A theme park that grew out of a studio tour. Check out eBay. You can find some discounted tickets in attendance. And Universal City Walk is a fun place to hang out surrounded by the evening after your day inside the park.
Hollywood: Hollywood Boulevard is geared up for its close-up, thanks to years of urban renewal and renovation. Enjoy the Walk of Fame, Entertainment Museum, Mann's Theatre and more. You can see a great deal for free. I have also added the Hollywood & Highland complex to my top ten list… it have lots of shops and restaurants, and the Kodak Theater (home of the Academy Awards). I like the El Capitan theater, because it have been restored to its former glory, unlike the Chinese, which be essentially gutted and turned into a multiplex.
Rodeo Drive, 90210: Packed with exclusive shops, full of gawkers. They adjectives came to relish the excess. Free, unless you intend to buy something.
Venice Beach: Los Angeles kitsch and over-the-top culture at its best.
Here you'll find Muscle Beach, street performers and adhesive shops galore.
Fun, VERY interesting, but I avoid it after dark, when it get a little TOO interesting for my aroma. And it's a short bike ride from:
Santa Monica Beach and Pier: Great beach scene and a classic seaside amusement park, complete beside antique carousel that has be in plentifully of TV and movies. (The Sting and "Three's Company" come immediately to mind).
After visit the pier, you can ride a bike south a couple miles to Venice Beach.
Santa Monica Third Street Promenade - Downtown Santa Monica's shopping promenade is often the scene of movie star-sightings. Just a short meander from the Santa Monica Pier.
Sunset Boulevard: Perhaps one of the world's most famous streets, it begin as a route between the stars' posh neighborhoods and the Hollywood studios. It runs from downtown to the ocean, ratification through the "Sunset Strip" on its way. It make for a fun drive. Along the way, you see like mad of different neighborhoods. Hollywood, West Hollywood, Bel Air, and Pacific Palisades. When you get to the the deep, stop at Gladstone's for Fish.
Queen Mary: Once the largest ship afloat, she's been docked contained by Long Beach for longer than she sailed, and her tidiness never fails to impress. Free to call on. You can actually stay on the ship, for a price.

In-N-Out Burger: Multiple locations, best burger within LA, ask anyone.
Pink’s Hot Dogs: 709 N. La Brea, just north of Melrose. Might see a famous person.
Tommy’s Chili Burgers: Look for the shack, an LA tradition. Original location at Beverly & Rampart, a couple miles west of downtown.
Canter’s Deli: 419 N. Fairfax, between Beverly & Melrose. Near CBS, might spot a celebrity.
Phillippe’s: 1001 N. Alameda. Great roast beef sandwich. Near Union Station, Olvera Street. Watch the mustard, it’s hot.
Places to Stay:
In Hollywood, I recommend the Renaissance Hotel at Hollywood and Highland, the Best Western Sunset Plaza, or the Hollywood Roosevelt.
In Anaheim, I recommend the HoJo Anaheim, and the Candy Cane Inn. If you want to splurge and make this a most appealing trip, stay at Disney’s Grand Californian. You get the full Disney experience. If you don't call for to stay by the park, then stay at the Doubletree on Harbor, or even the one surrounded by Orange on Chapman.
In Santa Monica, the Holiday Inn Santa Monica is close to the pier and reasonably priced.

You will be in a very short drive of Hollywood. Stop at the Chinese theater. Very touristy but check out the footprints and do some empire watching. It's a circus. The Kodak theater is right there to. Some obedient restaurants and shopping. Then... Get outta Dodge!
You could whip the Red Line (metro) and go to Downtown LA.
Go to Beverly Hills.
The Griffith Observatory.
You will be in Hollywood--go see Grauman's Chinese Theater next to all the movie stars' footprints; put your foot down Hollywood Boulevard; eat at Pink's Hot Dogs; carry a map of the movie stars' home and drive through the neighborhoods. Have fun!
