How much fun can an 21 and 17 year antiquated hold at Disney World? Be honest?

We are having a relations vacation and are going to Florida. My brother is 17 and I am 21 and our cousin I belive is 16. Mind you we are going beside our 2 aunts and our parents. Are there alot of fun things near for our age groups? I looked up information online but would like to hear from anyone who have first-hand experience (guess that's the right terminology). Thanks alot!

Answers:
of course you can hold fun...its Disney.
I'm going in two weeks near my husband (just us two) and we're 25 and 26! I'm so excited just thinking nearly going. The last time I go I was 17 and consequently I went earlier that and was 15 and both times I have a blast!
YES. I live here and trust me EVERYONE loves the parks, some of us are tired unsurprisingly since we go at hand every few months but I can assure its always fun and you will enjoy a blast, Disney World is an amazing experience for kids and adults, if you are here also make sure to dance to Islands of Adventure (its a Universal Studios park) its THE park for teens and young adults. Dont verbs, I have however to meet anyone who have come and hasnt had a blast contained by this city.
jump on all the rides and dont cry
You can specifically have fun. My husband and I are surrounded by our 30's, our daughter is 8, and we have be going to Disney World since she was a child, and I went next to my parents every year when I was a pubescent.
There is something for everyone at each Disney park. At Magic Kingdom - Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, Pirates of the Carribean. Epcot - Test Track, Mission Space, Soarin'. Animal Kingdom - Dinosaur, Expedition Everest, Kilamanjaro Safaris. MGM Studios - Tower of Terror, Rockin' Roller Coaster, Indiana Jones Stunt Show.
That is not even mentioning the great restaurants, Downtown Disney, parade, and shops. If you are staying at a Disney resort, you also have squeaky clean rooms, awesome theming, and great pools.
We are now time off club members and closing year alone we went to Disney World 4 times! It is a blast and within is truly something for everyone.
Try these websites : allears.net or touringplans.com
There is like mad of good information online. Disney is not model but it is definitely a place for FUN!
Ha vent been to the one within Florida but the one in California is a blast I go at 21 for the first time and had the time of my existence if you enjoy rides and parade you will love it.Im now 41 and still hold a blast my 16 year old and my 20 year old-fashioned have a blast too. We are looking forward to doing to the one surrounded by Florida because we love the one in California
At disney world in that is somthing for anybody. You can have fun doing anything within. For the older kids they enjoy a lot of thrill rides. My favorite is Mission:SPACE. It go super fast. Also Test Track and Rockn' Roller Coaster. Two thrill rides you enjoy to see is Space Mountian and Splash Mountian. They are disney classics.
Hey I'm 18 and graduating elevated school really soon. I go to Disney World this past summer when I be 17 for the first time and I immediately fell contained by love with it. I asked for another trip to disney for my graduation present!!

It's markedly not a wild Cancun leave experience. Sure, they have Pleasure Island but it's not equal. If you go near expecting to get frenzied and crazy, you're going to be disappointed. Don't get me wrong, i love crazy caribbean vacation like any other 18 year older. But a vacation to Disney World is WAY different. Don't be afraid to conduct yourself like a kid again. Thats subdivision of the experience. It's fun to revist your childhood in a place where on earth it is totally acceptable. It's close to traveling to a fantasy world where on earth everything is okay. It's fun to escape the real world and of late have a wholesome fitting time... because we all know that at our ages, we don't own "wholesome good times" drastically often haha.

It's pretty complicated to go to Disney World and NOT find a means of access to have fun. Enjoy it and flirt beside the employees! Be outgoing and don't be afraid to try a "kid's ride" because most of the times, they are pretty freakin cool.
Alright, this olden christmas I (26) took my brother (24) my sister (18) and a friend (22) to Disney World. I think if you enjoy an abundance of time and money you can enjoy a ball, however that be not the case next to us. Pleasure Island was probably the best piece about the Diz for us. As far as the actual park be, the cons far outweighed the pros.

To elaborate, in that are cool rides for older kids, however you hold to wade through little kids to get to them and later wait a fundamentally long time for a very short ride. There is lots of cool stuff to buy within the park that you can only receive in the park and nonetheless it costs 3 times as much. Eating in the parks is great but expensive. etc. etc.
it's fun if you jump when it's not really crowded. I did the Disney college program and my friends and I had tons of fun going to the parks to lately play around. We never got sick of it. Pleasure Island is fun, but nearby are only 2 clubs that are 18+, the rest are for 21+. The hours also correction alot, so you'd have to ask guest relations for the hours. Some of the little kid rides are really boring, but there's plenty for "big kids" to do. Also, if you enjoy the opportunity to go to cocoa shore or Clearwater, do it! FL beaches are the best.
I am 35 and my husband is 36 we love Disney World. We go as recurrently as we can. We just go in March and are planing on going again contained by Dec. Trust me YOU WILL have fun. It's Disney World, Mickey Mouse's house it's not merely for kids. Have a great time.
It's so much fun. I go last year and go to all the matter parks (a) WDW and had a blast. I regret not going to any of the wet parks. I go to Disneyland adjectives the time but WDW is something else. You will love it !! I wish my Grandma could of come along. Epcot and MGM be my favorites.
Come on...it's Disney World..who CAN'T have fun?
I'm a little elder than you and I love Disney. I know several people your age that love Disney as all right and my sister was probably around like age as your cousin when her passion for Disney hit its highlight.

Yes, Disney does have abundantly of attractions for younger kids and stuff like that, but elder kids can have a great time as all right. There are some rides that are a little more thrilling than Small World ;-) Test Track, Rock n Roller Coaster, Tower of Terror, Mission Space, Expedition Everest, freshly to name a few are great rides. Now, they are not as thrilling as something approaching The Hulk, but never the less, they are greatly of fun.

Being a little elder, you may find that you enjoy Downtown Disney, DisneyQuest, Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon for a while more than the parks themselves. I think alot of elder kids have a globe at these places. As far as parks, they will all enjoy a lot for you to do, but EPCOT probably have some of the best rides, though I still would not miss the other parks.

When you're 16, 17 and sometimes even 21, you try pretty hard to be cool and impress your friends. But, when you are at Disney you are given the opportunity to permit loose and have a righteous time. None of the people surrounded by the parks are going to see you afterwards, so if you want to ride Winnie the Pooh, you can do it and have fun while you are doing it.

I don't surmise Disney is on the top of the list of things to do for most kids your age, but I believe you can still have a really great time. A lot of how much fun you will enjoy depends on what you make of it as capably. If you got next to the idea you are going to be bored and/or not own a good time, you probably won't own much fun. But, if you go next to an open mind, try foreign things and try to have a dutiful time, it may be one of the best vacations you ever have.

I've been to Disney times and I've gone next to a lot of different citizens and many different ages, I can honestly influence that no matter what type of party, or what their age is, every single person I own gone with have found a little place open down inside that loves Disney. Even the skeptics that didn't think they would enjoy fun have since returned.

Not everyone like Disney, but I think it is a great place to move about. It's a lot of fun and I emphatically think you will hold a good time.
I read some of the previous answers and all be quite lame: Here's the truth:
All of you can own a nice time at House of Blues (Downtown Disney) it's a bar (bonus for you) but also a restaurant where on earth the younger folks can enjoy the live music (early evening on the square and 11:00 pm in the "kitchen"). The underneath 21s can get within to the music hall to see a national conduct yourself should you want to do that. You can usually get tickets at the box bureau day of show.

There's a place call DisneyQuest (also Downtown Disney) which any of you that enjoys video games will verbs. It it is basically a 5 floor video arcade (lots of the classic games). Bad *** but $50.00 bucks or something (all games are free once you're in).

Downtown Disney is hugely similar to a very highpriced shopping shopping precinct. Whatever you buy there you can cheaper somewhere sour of Disney property.

Pleasure Island is nice if you like the tap clubs/night clubs. I don't know the rule on under 21 though. They might not know how to get within after a certain hour.

Magic Kingdom: lame. Avoid it at adjectives costs (unless you have younger kinfolk members and you want to view them experience the fun).

Animal Kingdom (or whatever the zoo is called): 70% lame. If you approaching zoos this isn't bad, but otherwise pretty lame.

EPCOT: 50% lame. The rides are mostly crap but some of the shows, restaurants, food, and stuff is pretty nice.

There are two river parks and both are decent. If you're visit in the summer you'll newly be happy to be contained by a water park. These are a fine mode to spend a day and your best bet for making adjectives of the young adults chirpy. Bring your sunscreen and flirt with the lifeguards - they love it.

La Nouba is a amazingly cool Cirque Du Soleil show that anybody with a brain should really relish just for the spectacle but, again, glorious dollar. This is complete visual overload and may be more appreciated by the 21+ crowd because they tend to enjoy a finer appreciation of art. There are lots of very bendable girls contained by the show that should keep the 17 year old's interest.

MGM Studios: 50% lame. This is probably the best of the ride orient parks but crowded. Under no circumstances should you do the Twister "ride" because it is utter crap.

Good news: Disney provides intra-park transportation until 2:00AM if you're staying on property so you and the teens can ditch the feeble folks in the room and ride the bus over to Downtown Disney and goof rotten without have to worry in the region of driving and stuff.

Bad news: The best issue park in Orlando is Universal Studios Islands of Adventure. Go at hand if you want good rides. The best issue park in Florida is Busch Gardens surrounded by Tampa (may 60 minutes from Disney). It has smaller crowds and better rides than Disney and Universal.

Sea World is mostly crap.

Avoid long lines by participating within one of the express pass programs. You can do your rides by appointment (no extra cost but loss of flexibility). This preference allows you to get a ticket to step on a ride at a certain time. You draw from in a much shorter vein. There is a VIP Ticket (I don't remember what it's called) where on earth you pay more $$ but you don't enjoy to have an appointment to seize in the short stripe.

Tell you parents to participate surrounded by the Meal Plan they'll save a boat nouns of cash.

All of the Disney resorts hold awesome pool areas.

While in Orlando listen to 104.1 FM between 6:00 AM and 10:00 AM for a funny radio program (www.monsters.fm)

Around the Orlando nouns (not Disney): Cocoa Beach (probably the best beach surrounded by Central Florida), Daytona Beach (the beach that get all the credit), New Smyrna Beach (the one that you can drive on), GatorLand (the world illustrious Gator Jump-a-roo).

If you're here in June, July, or August you can count on a 75% arbitrary of rain every daylight from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM. It will not get cloudy until after 8:00PM. Weather is usually nice except for the occasion times when the windspeed excedes the heat (we call this a hurricane).
