What's a better route than the 405 from Burbank to Marina Del Rey?
I'm new to the nouns and am currently living in Burbank, but working temporarily surrounded by the Marina del Rey area. I've be taking the 134 > 101 > 405 South > 90 route, but am looking for a better alternative than that horrible section of the 405. I've hear you can take Sepulveda for a stretch consequently jump spinal column on the 405 after Sunset when the traffic tends to spread out up, but as I am new, I'm not sure if that's better.
If you own any advice or alternative routes, I would greatly appreciate it!

GET OFF THE 10.. ONTO JEFFERSON WEST AND YOU'RE THER..
Creative, I see you are trying to be creative here but the fact of the concern is the "Interstate" roads make a rectangle around the mountains and you are trying to procure from one corner of it to the diagonally opposite corner. You could try taking the 101 or 5 to the 10 and see if specifically any faster.I would try the 101 first..a million other people are trying to bear all the side roads similar to Sepulveda and I find the side roads like that, Laurel Canyon, Beverly Glen to be even slower.Give it a shot..
How something like this one?
Take Olive or Pass to Barham. Take Barham up the hill, afterwards turn left on Cahuenga (or hop on the 101 for a mile if it looks good-- you turn right on Cahuenga, and the onramp is right there). (Exit at Highland). Turn right on Franklin or Sunset. Left on Brea. Take Brea south all the route past the 10, up and over Baldwin Hills, to Slauson. Right on Slauson, and you can pilfer the Marina Freeway if you want.
Try a few parallel streets and experiement. Welcome to LA.
You can also try taking Laurel Canyon, Coldwater Canyon, or Beverly Glen up and over the Hollywood Hills. Not much faster, but a nice change of viewpoint.
not sure if would be any better
but you give somebody a lift the 101 to the 10 (Santa monica freeway) then you could gain off
any at Bundy take it south (it become Centinela)
then run Centinela to Short Ave right turn on Short Ave
(it becomes Minadino road after alla road) and Minadino
will take into Marina del rey
or you pinch the 10 to Lincoln then step south on Lincoln to
marina
The 5 to the 110, but DO NOT help yourself to the 10 west during rush hour! It is a friggin nightmare!! It's a little roudabout, but try the 105 west to Sepulveda north, which will hold much less traffic.
The 110 to the 10 west
Take the 134 then step on the 170 at the 101/170 split. Take the Magnolia exit & turn left onto Magnolia. Follow that adjectives the way down to Sepulveda, next make a disappeared on Sepulveda. Take that to the Getty Center, then bounce on the 405. This used to save me a ton of time when I commuted from Burbank to Brentwood!
