Wanted to know, besides other theme parks that would be worth checking out. Any cool places to guzzle, beaches, etc... We're both surrounded by our 20's and it'll be our first trip out to Florida and I just want to clear it really speacial. Thank you.

discovery cove is awesome, expensive but awesome, however in april it may be too cold.
Unfortunately, the beaches are going to be too far away for it to be worth while for you to call in them. Don't know if you count them as theme parks, but my girlfriend and I other have a great time at the sea parks there, Wet n Wild or Blizzard Beach, so you may want to administer those a try as well. Beyond that, if you're doing subject parks day after daylight, there'll probably be a day within there where on earth you'll just want to thieve a break and relax at your hotel since walking all around Disney and international day after afternoon can be tiring.
Theres downtown disney. I guess its like 20 or 30 mins away from the focus parks. They have a bunch of places to shop, similar to disney stores, virgin records, and a chocolate store. Then they own night clubs, movie theater, disney quest, pleasure island, cirque du soleil. They enjoy house of blues, planet hollywood, rainforest cafe, mcdonalds, and a bunch of other places to eat.

If you dont approaching that they have disney cavernous world of sports, or the 2 water parks.
i like the strip bars
You name it! We own it! Definitely go to SeaWorld and Universal Islands of Adventure. Disney have lots of fun stuff, too. But it is really expensive and being contained by your 20s you will have more fun at Islands of Adventure and SeaWorld.

Definitely try to put together it over to Clearwater Beach for a day. It is a charming beach on the Gulf side of Florida and is a bit drive from the Disney area (about 1.5 hours). But if you can take in for questioning a sunset there, you will be within love with Florida. Just sit at a shoreline restaurant and have margaritas and coating and eat shrimp. Your care will go away!

If you are surrounded by your 20s, you may want to check out Downtown Orlando. It is a fun bar/club scene at night. Just be sure to purloin a cab, because it is so much fun that you may not be capable of drive back to where on earth ever you are staying.

If you can while you are at Disney, check out the Cirque de Soliel show La Nouba. It is amazing. One of my favorite date nights ever be catching dinner at Wolfgang Puck's Restaurant and then seeing the show after.

If you go and get all of these things along next to a couple of parks in on your week long time off, I guarantee you will have a highly memorable leave.
