St Louis Taxi Service From Greyhound Bus Station?

I am traveling to St Louis by Greyhound bus, I will transfer to Amtrak within St Louis, (for the Amtrak experience), what is the best way to catch from the bus station to the Amtrak station at about 5pm on a week daylight?

Take the Mo Bus 74 (South) Get off at Civic Center Metrobus CTR at METROLINK (FS) 1.55 miles

Walk to Amtrak Station on S 16th Street .25 miles

I'm not sure of the cost. It's any $1.75 or $2.25.
